I survived this weekend!! \o/ And Pride was awesome! \o/
So Friday night was a shitshow. I can pretty much say I've never been that drunk before in my life, and I don't intend to be that drunk everr again. But lols. HILarious. Saturday night the bartenders wore just their undies, and the dj played 'NSync and Spice Girls and California Gurls and even old school Brittany Spears.
The pride parade was awesome. It was hot as balls, but there were waterguns amongst the marchers ;o) And at the street fair after there was a viewing of 3-D gay porn. 'nough said on that. But yes, Pride was awesome, and I was so happy I was able to stay for the whole time this year.
Now, the business of getting back to regular life has already started :o/ This week'll be crazy with work, bc the boss is going on vaca on Friday, and making day trips all this week. AND she just bought another dog. As in a dog that is hers, and not one she walks. He's a rescue dog, from an eleventh-hour adoption. I met him, and he's still getting used to life, in a sense. He's skittish, and she adopted him because she figured no one else would (because he was in shot and huddling in his crate). So hopefully he'll warm up soon and be good.
And my cat, Pinky, is sick. So I made an appointment for the vet for 11am tomorrow. I'm really nervous. My other two cats died within the last 2 years, and both while I was abroad, and both from health problems (a tumor and cancer). So now I'm just scared that something's gonna be wrong with Pinky like the last two times, especially because she's showing similar symptoms as Kit and Ham did. I just need to hope that things turn out alright. And hope that Teddy (my dog) stays healthy.
But yeah... back to regular life :o/ But tonight, I'm gonna try to relax and watch Ghost Whisperer and catch up with LJs... or, I was going to until the boss called as I was typing this and asked me to walk dogs tonight. Thanks, bosssss.
And wow... totally didn't mean to make this post a downer and outlet for complaining at the end there... So to make up for it... enjoy:
