Moulin Rouge Dean/Castiel Style...??
I think I've come up with another summer project for myself.
Here's the idea: Dean/Castiel Moulin Rouge AU.
Yes? No? What do you guys think?
I caved and watched Moulin Rouge instead of workshopping novels today, and I hadn't seen it in a loong time.
And the entire time I was watching it I was like "Oooo man, this... and this! Dean and Cas!!" And so, yeah.
I'm thinking Dean is Satine, because he's a skeptic about love and (as awesomepants87 put it) he's a "ho fo sho." Castiel is Christian because he's a bit naive about how the real world works, has values/ideas that are pretty strong, etc. I have to figure out everything else, but I have some ideas... and idk about the Duke, but... Michael? lol. It'll be this weird, twisted, thing, but... that's what I'm thinking.
And since it's Moulin Rouge, tons could be done with style and the prose could really take on a fun quality/shape, and it could be a really fun writing experience.
Part of me is like, "Hey! Why not go all out and incorporate art, too!" But... I don't have adobe, etc for computer art, sooo... yeah lol.
But that's what I'm thinking. Sounds good? Or just crazy? Thoughts?
And... there hasn't been a Moulin Rouge AU written before, right??
The worst part about this is that I kinda want to start it now... but I can't because I have final essays and presentations, and yes my big bang, to finish. So... Urgh. I'm twitching in my seat. But I have ideas written down, and the last line written (lol! let's see if it stays the last line :oP), so hopefully things will fall together?
