I took a break from school work today to work on my big bang.  And I'm starting to feel good about it again! :oD  Hopefully that feeling will stick around for a while.

awesomepants87  (who's awesome for acting as beta) pointed out that there was way too much pointless angst (angst for angst sake) in there, and looking at it now I feel like denying I ever wrote

I, for one, am looking forward to my very first Big Bang season! So many looooong stories! As long as they're 42,000 good words (and I'm sure they will be!) I'm sure it'll be eaten up. You can do so many interesting things with that length: really settle into your characters and style and explore things you can't in a few thousand words.

This is my first Big Band season, too, and I'm just as excited! :o) It'll be great to see what everyone's written.

And hopefully they'll be 42,000 good words! :oP I'm trying my hardest. But yeah, that's what I like most about longer fiction, the extra time you have to explore character, delve into style and story and just have fun. It's been fun so far, and I can't wait to see what everyone has produced :o)
