in the zone...
Okay... so yeah... I'm super excited about the new episode of Supernatural tonight. I'm trying not to think about it too hard, because if I do I know I'm going to be flailing all over the place.
But school work! I hate school work. lol. I mean, once I get down to it I'm fascinated by it and everything I read, but it's dragging my lazy ass away from my computer and everything else in life that's the hard part. I've been writing like a mofo for the past, like, three days, but most of it isn't anything I can submit to workshop, and a lot of it is fanfic lol. Oh well... as my apartmentmate says, it's practice, right? :oP
But yeah... so I'm being studious, but not in the right way. Tomorrow I'm going to get up early, read like crazy, do work and get some laundry done, and then I'll hold off on playing around with everything but schoolwork until later at night. Then Sat. I work from 3-7, which gives me the morning to get some work done as well, and again, I can putz around at night. (I think I'm going to force myself into that schedule... work during the day, play at night ;o)
I have a presentation in a lil over a week (next monday) and so picked up a ton of books on Faulkner's As I Lay Dying and narrative technique today. Really interesting... but again, I need to focus on it tomorrow.
But yeah... ummm... I feel like I had something else on my mind I wanted to get down here, but I'm totally blanking. Oh wells. Maybe it'll pop up later :oP
Oh, and is anybody else really really cold? It's in the 40's today, and tomorrow isn't going to be much better (with rain, etc. on the way). Oh winter and it's early arrival... :o/
