It has a lot of interesting information on evolution and how physical structures have changed to serve different functions in different species, all delivered in a fairly accessable and entertaining way.

Seriously, though... I have taken some of your recs, like reading "All the Fishes Come Home to Roost" and "We3" and putting "Rosemary and Rue" on hold at the library. But your "books" tag is 86 posts long. I don't really have any idea where to start.

Very much so! It was sad and funny and poignant and painful and entertaining and moving. What she went through growing up was crazy.
