Bitch! Jerk!
Hey dudes....
Long time, no update .... sorry. Its been a pretty hectic week....what with Mr. L passing away on Tuesday, my car breaking down on the highway home from uni at like 10pm on Wednesday night (more on that later), and just generally being depressed lately .... I guess it all added up... you know? There were some highlights though ....
jeyhawk updated many many times this week on the fics that im so hooked on right now because she is like made of awesome .... and I went to see New Found Glory on Friday night and was like dead centre and only three people back so that rocked (they played full old school songs, which i LOVE - i was first introduced to them by my first BF and ive loved them since then...).
But anyways.... my car is like stuffed to all hell. OK so I was coming home from uni (which is a good hours trip on the best day) and I was about halfway home when I heard a huge bang (I thought it was a bomb! seriously. no logic, just panic) and as I was going up the hill my car totally dies and there is like smoke everywhere. Im thinking 'ok its like 10pm, Im just going to stay in my car and lock the doors'. So I called the NRMA and theyre like 'oh well since youre alone and a girl we will be as fast as we can' - gee thanks! So the first tow guy comes along and tows me to 'safety' cos they cant repair on the highways and drops me ... no joke ... about 5 minutes down the road. I kid you not. Then he drives off, yes drives off, and says the NRMA guy is on his way. So I wait again and finally I see the NRMA guy pulling in infront of my car. So he pops the hood/bonnet and says 'oh youre radiator hose is burst', and im standing there thinking 'well duh, even I can see that'. So he says 'if thats just the problem it can be fixed with a part pretty quick, if not then its a much bigger problem'. And then he leaves. Im thinking ' ok I couldve told them that a hose was broken (it was so obvious) and I wouldnt have had to wait forever for you to come and tell me that' - but whatever. So he tells me that he is calling another tow truck to come and pick me up to take me to my repairers. Another 45mins pass. The guy turns up and takes me and my poor car home. Luckily, the tow trip only cost like $30 (last time my car broke down - it does this alot - I was so far away that it cost $90 just to get home with the tow truck). So the next day the repairer called me with bad news. He said that if it was just the hose it would be fine, but now the car doesnt even turn on. Big Disaster. And the first chance he will get to look at it will be tuesday. But its obviously a big job. Ive decided that once its fixed Im getting rid of it. Its a shity car, and apparently all Holden Barinas are. So dont buy one!! Argh! Sucks not having a car.
So thats my latest drama..... huge to me, insignificant in the scheme of things. I just gotta keep thinking 'ok so this must have happened for a reason' - it helps to say that, or I just get angry or depressed and that 'in the end, its a car... cars break... so not the end of the world....more important things to worry about..... yeah like how i have no money.... well that and poverty...... see i have my priorities in order....'
I guess its just hard, i mean this is something that affects my world so its hard to see the bigger picture when this is so close to home. But I shall endeavour to think of others and not just me. promise.

i just cant figure out how to get text on a separate frame.... everytime I try it ends up in every frame...argh! oh well..... ill figure it out sooner or later.... probably later but whatever.
Anyways.... ive decided to post this all instead of putting it under a cut in hopes that people will read it. *crosses fingers*
