I've had a pleasant day so far. I went out and paid all my bills. I strolled around looking at store, but all their clothes were ugly. One thing that bothers me about Le Chateau: as a whole, they come across pretty funky, but the individual clothing items are not funky enough in and of themselves to justify a purchase. Instead, I shall shamelessly steal their fashion ideas. I bought some fabric on sale at Fabricland. I plan to make a skirt. Or perhaps a few skirts.
I went to Timothy's and had my first coffee of the day and studied German. I'm feeling pretty confident now that I can identify a past perfect and present perfect tense if I see them. Strangely, there was another guy there sudying German too. I made brief small-talk about his flash cards, which looked very interesting. I might make a set of my own, with key theological terms on them. Maybe I could print them up on cardstock. If they're useful enough I might be able to sell packages to students at my school.
I went to a little cheapie cothing outlet and bought a pair of khaki pants for $5.99. They didn't have a change room but they said they accept exchanges. I took them to the mall washroom and tried them on. They barely fit. I knew I'd never wear them. They might have been a size 10. I took them back and exchanged them for a black t-shirt that was the same price. It fits well, has some spandex in it, and is by a brand I recognize (Body Glove). I like it a lot.
I also called about a personality study the CAMH is doing. Firstly, I love studies and tests and surveys. Also, they might pay me.
mr_pugh will be home soon and then we're going to see Dial M For Murder in 3D. I look forward to that classic 3D moment when I turn around and see a sea of people in glasses.
