Muggy Life
I got up arond noon and spent some time trying to read German newspapers. I was looking for examples of the narrative past form of verbs, which I'd read were generally used by newspapers.
When that got boring (which was pretty quickly) I did some more work on a project for a coworker, some character sketches. I enjoyed that and got a lot done.
What I didn't enjoy was the PS2 not reading any disks, the dvd player crashing, and feeling like I've been in a raincloud all day.
The weather seems to match my mood. It's been a time of big cloudbursts followed by muggy calm. Last night Mr. Pugh met me after work and we went out to The Living Well and had a long mega-talk. I'd like another one like that soon.
Right now work seems like a big pain in the ass to go to. I'd rather be here. But I gotta go. I feel sorry for the customers because I feel so grouchy.
