This happy bubble. Revel in it.

I'm in a space of happy fuzzy feelings.  Sleepy feelings, but happy and fuzzy.

The Journal of Homosexuality has asked me to peer review and article, and I've agreed.  Awesome.  The Toronto Journal of Theology has asked me to review a book and I've agreed to that as well.  Awesome.  It makes me feel like a real scholar.

I've finished my latest fanfiction story and it's been well received.  I'm backing in the glow.  One person described one of my stories, Lassiter Rides the Pineapple Express, as "the example of true fanfiction genius. XD"  It's hard not to love that.  In related news, a close relative is taking an online erotica writing course.  I think that's pretty cool.

I'm pretty sure I'll be attending the Take Back The Dyke March this year.  I don't like censorship and I think it could be an interesting experience to be in an unpermitted march.

My socializing has been excellent.  I had a terrific time at Pegasus last night.  I met some really cool women and had some great conversations.  It reminds me again why I love biwot.  It's so welcoming.  My 2-spirited meeting this week was also awesome.  The elder, Sadie, gave me a smudging kit (tobacco, sage, sweetgrass, and cedar) so I can now do it myself at home.  I'm learning a lot of things and I'm grateful to the folks there for sharing with me.  My last Deliria session was awesome as well.

We're going to visit a friend today and I've got another friend I'll be hanging out with on Saturday.  This latter friend is a guy I met at work and he's easy to hang out with.  I'm not usually good at one-on-one friendships, as I've learned to great disaster with some people.  But I'm being more open about what I'm looking for and what I'm not, and that seems to help.

For some reason I've been even more crazy about mr_pugh  than usual this month.  It's kind of fun.  You'd think that after 15 years he'd just be a piece of furniture, but no.  I'm still crazy foolish over him.

Watched Lady Gaga's video for on  dimethirwen's livejournal post.  It's equal parts Madonna, Abba, Hellboy and Eva Peron.  But I'm not loving the Three Stooges hair cuts.

Fathers day is coming up and I'm looking forward to writing to Dad again.  Movies have become a great way to communicate.
