Scary things like being a grown-up

I just sent an email off to Brenda Cossman, the new director at the Centre for Sexual Diversity Studies, which essentially says I'm available for work and that they should hire me.  It took me forever to press send, despite having worked on the email all week.  Sometimes these grown up activities, like asking for a job, are just terrifying.

I am expecting a negative response; they don't really have any money, although I'd consider working for magic beans (despite having lectured others about this practice) just to get the job experience.
