I feel kinda like Dr. House. Nero got a swollen lip this week. This symptom, when googled, gave me information about Eosinophilic Granuloma Complex. There was the swollen lip, the infected foot pads, and this weird tag on his belly we thought might be a nipple or something. Upshot, he's allergic. Steroids would eliminate the symptoms, but not get at the allergy. So we're going to spend our day off cleaning the floor with water (in case it's the floor cleaner we used) and shadowing him to see where he goes and what he touches that might be irritating him.
