I watched two similar but excellent films last night. One was Confidence, with Ed Burns, Rachel Weis, and Dustin Hoffman. The other was The Good Thief, with Nick Nolte. This appears to be a remake of Bob le Flambeur. I enjoyed them both.
My mom is having a lot of medical problems. She's got scoliosis and it's causing her a lot of pain because some of the bones in her spine are deteriorating. Plus she's very stressed out from her job. She aplied for a disability pension but was turned down, so now she's having her union handle the claim. Her doctor has been a jerk, but then he always was. I went to him for a pap test once and he brought a bunch of interns in to hang out.
Finally, the back-up voucher I signed at Dominion back in August and September's rent have come out of my bank account. I hated having to be so careful with my balance because those items were still foating around out there somewhere, waiting to be cashed.
I called UofT's financial office about my student account and it turns out I owe them 800.00 because TST hasn't put my scolarship into that account yet. I called TST and their financial officer took this week of all weeks to go on vacation. He'll return on Tuesday and no one is responsible for his job in his absence. Arg. Nice administration, people.
