RP: Five Hundred Twenty-Five Thousand Six Hundred Minutes....

Summary: Sky and Mona ring in the New Year.

While most people took this day to look back at the year and appreciate what they had. Sky never bothered with it much beyond looking back and taking stock of the things that had changed and to realize he survived another year, literally. He wasn't one to celebrate anything, he didn't celebrate his birthday, so why would he celebrate the changing over of the year? He wouldn't say he and Mona were celebrating really, not in the tradition sense. This might have been brought on by Jula who had told him that he needed to do something with Mona, though she wasn't even in the city to make sure he did it. His baby sister had moved out of the apartment and into her own place three days ago, and had venture back up to Chicago for the New year, mostly to get the rest of her stuff. He felt comfortable with her going, she'd have Piotr, Tomasz and Casmir with her the entire time, there wasn't a chance in hell Matthew would be able to get to her.
His baby sister was a meddler and he still had mixed feelings about her staying down here. With her out of the apartment now it gave he and Mona a chance to find their balance again, no longer having to worry about a third person in the apartment. In this though he thought she had been right, if he and Mona were going to attempt raising a kid together they should really be a little more intentional about spending time together, he should be more intentional about asking for time with her. There were no boozes in the apartment though, it would be a dry New Year for the both of them, mostly because he thought it would be rather cruel of him to drink while Mona couldn't. He knew Mona was about as social as he was, so he thought a night in would suite them both well.
Leaning against the doorframe in between the living room and kitchen, Sky took a moment to just study Mona as she sat curled up on the couch. He cared for her, that much he could admit without even a moment of pause. Moving into the living room further, he sank down onto the couch next to her and pulled her to him. "Any ideas how you want to celebrate?" He asked curiously, aware of a couple ways he'd like to ring in the New Year, though he would leave that decision up to her.
