Erica was glad when Ariel had accepted her invitation to go out shopping. She actually had people in her life to buy gifts for this Christmas, but she felt a little silly because she didn't really have any ideas of what to get people. If Demi hadn't run off to New York, a move that still confused the hell out of her, she'd have asked her to come along, but as it was, Erica's only real female friend was gone now. She wasn't looking to replace Demi, not really, she just had enjoyed the few times she'd been around Ariel and considering how much Ezra seemed to like Ariel, she thought it really couldn't hurt to see if they could be friends.
She grabbed a cart as they went inside the store and set her purse down in the child seat in it. Glancing over at Ariel with a grin, she asked, "Any preference on where to start?" She had no idea what she wanted to get J.J. and Ezra for Christmas, and those were just the two at the top of her list, she had a bunch of other people to get things for, too.
