RP: Twenty Questions

Summary: Following up on her e-mail, Nora heads to Janus to meet with Aleksy.

She had come prepared.
...of course, in the process, she'd accused herself at least twice of over-thinking things, but that was to be expected after three years of having to think of any possible circumstance so she could plan for it. A short list of ideas and questions, in case Aleksy ended up not being able to show her around, so that she could simply leave it with him to look over when he could. One of her remaining business cards from when she worked with Cory, and printed-out directions to the center, in case it was too new for her GPS (it wasn't, as it turned out, but you could never tell), all put into a thin leather business-folder a business contact had given her for Christmas one year, with her initials monogrammed in gold on the front. He'd said the place was casual, but she'd decided to treat it like a low-level interview, so she'd dressed in khakis and a nice shirt, hoping in the back of her head that this didn't prompt him to laugh too much at her either. She just didn't want to come across as not taking this seriously, either.
She'd figure out the right balance when she'd seen what there was to see, she told herself, getting out of the car and lifting her purse and her folder from the passenger-seat. And in the meantime, she still needed to see first if this would work, so no counting eggs before any hatched...
