Ezra wasn't familiar with the diner, but he didn't so much care what he ate and Demi had talked the place up so he was willing to try it, after all he'd eat just about anything. Finding the place hadn't been hard, and with the girls hanging with their Aunt Leah today he was 'niece-free' on his day off.
As he slipped into the diner he heard Demi call out for him and caught sight of her easily. "Dems, hey." Ezra called back as he made his way towards Demi. "Yeah, this is what I look like in the daylight outside of the four walls of Muse."
Demi laughed, shaking her head. "And not attached at the hip to Kyle?" She teased, smirking slightly. It was no secret that the two were more likely to be found with each other than apart. Demi thought it sweet, though.
After the waitress had dropped off their menus and they had placed their drinks, she turned to Ezra again. "Been in to see Erica again?" she asked softly, taking a sip of water. She grinned a little. "Didja hear JJ spent a looooot of time at hospital?"
Ezra shrugged slightly and grinned. "Surprisingly not." He replied with a laugh. Sure he and Kyle spent a lot of time together, but they were still two separate people, or at least Ezra hoped they still were.
Looking over the top of his menu at Demi, he shook his head. "No, working Thursday thru Saturday kind of kept me away." Which he hated, but Neve had been enough for the both of them and kept Ezra up to date on how Erica was doing. "I did, though I don't know how much time is a lot." He hadn't actually met J.J. yet, but Erica seemed to like the guy, so he was giving him the benefit of the doubt.
Demi grinned back. "Hey, you two are a cute couple - and I like Kyle." She really did, thought the younger man was adorable, especially around Ezra.
She nodded. "I've been going in before work, getting some of the legwork that she needs done accomplished." She smiled slowly. "A fair amount, from the way I heard the nurses talk." She looked back down at her menu, deciding quickly what she wanted and waiting for Ezra to make up his mind. "So... how's wedding planning going?" she asked once Ezra had set the menu down and they were waiting for their waitress.
