RP: Hammer Time

Summary: Kudzu invites Chris over for lunch at his current job site.

The floors in this unit were rotted through and he'd spent more time busting up the old wood than in any other unit so far. He figured there must have been some flooding from the bathroom above to create such bad damage, but the ceiling was unmarked. Repainted, maybe? He hoped Chris didn't mind doing some demo. Thad was entitled to some time off, even if Kudzu probably could have used him today.
He was in his summer work clothes again, cut-off washed out jeans, combat boots, ragged stained t-shirt, safety glasses and his red bandanna tied around his forehead to ward off sweat that threatened to pour into his eyes. Not exactly his most elegant getup, but functional. When he found a reasonable stopping point, he went out into the living room and propped open a window to smoke. He blew careful streams outside, watching for Chris, not wanting to risk not hearing his knock.
