Derrick mostly didn't mind the kid that had come in to do a documentary about shelter life. Mostly. It was kind of uncomfortable to think of having the camera around, but Q had set it up, saying that if nothing else it would bring attention to the life set that a horrible amount of kids were forced to go through.
And the kid was nice enough, for the short amount of time Derrick had known him. He could tell that the kid - Noah, Derrick reminded himself - was doing his best to not make waves with anyone. It wasn't his fault that the camera weirded Derrick out.
He finished another stack of paperwork, glad that the day was calm enough, considering. It was still early hours yet though, so he hoped he wasn't jinxing himself with the thought.
Glancing up, he gave a half smile as the kid - Noah - poked his head through the door to his office. "Hey, things going okay?" he asked.
