She was feeling a little bit better about the week, but there was still the question of keeping herself occupied. And she wanted to get out and do something. Maybe see a movie. Or get food. With people her age, maybe. She missed having Hannah and Kelly nearby; they'd always been up to hang out and do stuff. Especially when Kelly's cousins were in town and were willing to drop her off so she didn't have to wait on her mom's schedule.
Thinking for a moment while she stared at the ceiling, she dropped her head back down and pulled up her e-mail. There was Star and Shelby -- they'd both seemed really nice, and they were around her age. She'd start there.

You up to anything this weekend? Maybe we could go see a movie and get some ice-cream. You guys up for it?
