RP: Should I Be Freaking Out?

Summary: His niece is entering the world and J.J.'s losing his calm a bit.

Why the hell was he freaking out? This wasn't his kid, and everything was okay or so the nurses kept coming out to tell J.J. and his Dad this while they waited in the family area. The nurses were amused by him, one had even mistakenly asked him if he was a nervous Dad pacing out in the hall because he couldn't be in the room anymore. J.J. had pulled a rather unattractive face at the nurse and very quickly made his way back to the waiting area and dropped into a chair. God, he couldn't even think about having kids, they were little and fragile and he had not fucking idea how to take care of one. Hell, he wasn't even sure he'd be a good uncle.
J.J. shrugged off his Mum when she came out to check on him and his Dad. She was worried about him working himself up, stressing out and then passing out. He hated to admit it, but it was likely she was right - he needed to calm down, again this wasn't his kid so why was he so damn worried?
Sighing J.J. dropped his head into his hands and took a couple deep breaths before pulling his phone out of his pocket. He knew what would calm him down, or who would, Erica. And even if it was just via texts messaging he really wanted to talk to her right now. He quickly typed out one message that read I'm freaking out. but deleted it before sending a different one.
Someone needs to think up teleportation for babies. It would speed up this whole process.
