These moments, these little things made this feel more like, well Soli wasn't sure she wanted to even think the word, or if she was ready to, but it felt like that. Shivering she shifted and opened her eyes blearily, sighing contentedly at Damien's chosen way of waking her up. Why did she loves these little moments so much? Sometimes all it took was a look, a glance across the shop while they both worked or the way he would simple and pull her close while they watched a movie, small gestures, innocent moments and yet they had the ability to make her go weak in the knees, that's why against every fiber in her being telling her not too, Soli was slowly realizing that this was something more, she couldn't label it, but it wasn't the simple arrangement she and Damien had agreed upon, not anymore.

"Good morning, Hermoso." Soli whispered, voice still tinged with the last signs of sleep as she spoke. This it was moments like this, a simple wake up that made her inner spaz, the girl she hadn't allowed to get giddy about any guy since high ( ... )

Damien closed his eyes briefly at the sound of Soli's voice. She probably had no idea just how sexy she sounded first thing in the morning, and he really didn't think it was his newly-admitted feelings for her influencing that thought. Damien had always found Soli incredibly sexy, there was nothing new there. He let her push him to lay on his back, and then he wrapped an arm around her when she curled up against him. "'Bout forty-five minutes since I got up," he answered.

She hadn't seemed to notice the trays of food yet, and Damien was hesitant to point them out to her for the simple fact that she was in his arms right now, and he wasn't in a hurry for her to move. He had put in the effort to make her breakfast - well, to make them breakfast - and he was insanely curious to see how she'd react to the little surprise. "I kept busy though; brought you up something," he murmured to her, nodding over her shoulder at her tray of food.

Soli had found that besides the closeness of always having Damien next to her when she fell asleep or woke up, what she really liked was listening to his heartbeat as she rest her head against his chest. She caught herself doing this often, not just when they were in the bedroom, but sometimes when they would sit curled up on the couch watching a movie, or she would pull him into a hug randomly while making dinner or some other domestic thing that blurred the lines of what she wanted to believe this was. Why she found comfort in listening to his heartbeat she didn't know, but she had to figure it was the simple closeness and not the actual noise. "And still you crawl back into bed to make sure you're hear to wake me up." She wasn't going to think about the way her heart fluttered a bit at the fact that he always did that, she had yet to wake up without him next to her ( ... )

Damien knew he wouldn't trade the feel of Soli in his arms for anything. He also knew that having these feelings for her very well could blow up in his face. As much as he wanted to believe that she'd come back to him, turned to him while she was going through all of this because she had deeper feelings for him too, he knew that it would be foolish to until or unless she expressed any deeper feelings directly. He and Soli had always been on the same page when it came to what was going on between him staying just a casual thing, and he wasn't going to push for anything more without some kind of indication from her that she wanted more, too. He would rather have her in this casual non-relationship than not have her in his life at all. "Hmm, don't hear you complaining," he murmured, smirking ( ... )
