It had been awhile since Derrick had asked if someone wanted to come over to his place. After the previous night's conversation with Alex, Derrick kind of figured maybe he should make the first move when it came to furthering things with Ty. So, when he had managed to take a break at work, he figured he would give Ty a call and see if he was interested in bringing Tigger over. Something nice and non-threatening, he thought would be good.
He laughed at himself as his hands shook dialing the number. Had he been this nervous that first time asking Emma out? He knew he hadn't been with Conrad. He finally pushed "send" and waited for Ty to either pick up or go to voicemail.
