Finding a parking spot on a Sunday morning along Magnolia Avenue was never easy. Molly clenched her teeth as she locked her bug, tossing her keys into her large purse as she moved quickly towards the restaurant. The weather was shitty, but Molly never thought to prepare for it the right way here. Growing up in Minnesota, she was used to constant snow. The rain in Texas never seemed as bad as that, so it was just easier to pretend the weather never needed to be thought about.
Plus, there had to be at least one thing she wasn't constantly worried about. One thing she wasn't always prepared for.
Pulling her bag closer to her body, Molly reached Yucatan and looked around for Jack. Seeing her already there, Molly hurried to the table, apologies falling from her lips. "Sorry, parking was a nightmare." She smiled, knowing Jack knew how she felt about her car. Had she been willing to park between a Ford F150 and a Tank (a Hummer, but really. Who could tell the difference) she'd have been her five minutes ago. That just wasn't an option.
