RP: Birthday Lunch

Summary: Bradley treats Allison to lunch on her birthday.

Bradley knew from a mention weeks ago now from Sam that Allison’s birthday was coming up. He should feel worse about that than he did, he knew, and yet-his relationship with her was more just friends than it ever had been in the past, whereas the things he did with Allison were… well, just friends, it was true, but there was that spark there. He didn’t want to think on it too hard, not yet.
But since he’d known, he’d asked her to lunch to celebrate, not wanting to interfere with any other plans she might have that day. It was a nice enough place, and Casey was with the sitter. He’d bought her a gift, and he hoped she didn’t mind, and that she liked it. It had been awhile since he’d had to puzzle out what was appropriate to give someone, and he always feared he got it wrong. It had always been the type of thing he’d run past Sally, to make sure.
This time, however, he’d be working at it alone. He could only hope it went well.
