RP: Kidnapping the Birthday Boy

Okay, so she'd snooped a little to find out Colin's birthday, but he had refused to tell her and that was just wrong. So, when Jase was out one afternoon, she'd flipped through his employee files. Of course she could have asked her cousin, she was sure he would tell her after he had kept throwing them together at his own birthday party. Which she wasn't sure if she appreciated or not. She was absolutely fine with them remaining in the friend category for a good long time - she'd done a little soul searching after staring at Erick's card for a good hour and had decided that she really, really wasn't ready to date yet. She couldn't do that to herself and she couldn't do that to Alden.
But, Colin was fun and sweet and was her friend, so she felt no shame doing a little investigative work to find out his birthday and then make plans to kidnap him for the night after arranging for Carrie to take Alden when she realized that he was going to let the day pass with little fanfare. Jase had let the world known that he had a second (third, if you counted his birthday) date with Nereida, it just made sense to do it the same night.
It had taken a little bit of stealth to get her hands on the schedule and arrange for them to be the ones closing on Saturday night, but she'd managed. And then she'd managed to change into one of the sample dresses that Jase had pawned off on her, feeling a bit like a teenage girl again. Now, to find the birthday boy. Ah, there he was. Carefully she snuck up to him and, grinning mischievously as she realized he had his earbuds in as he worked on a file, dropped her hands over his eyes.
