Summary: Maureen really wanted to cook for him for their second date.

Maureen had thought long and hard about what she waned to do for their second date before finally deciding that she’d really like to cook for Piers. Something low-key and relaxing. Then she realized that the apartment wasn’t suitable, half their things were in boxes already, preparing for the move that weekend. She’d called him, wondering about the state of his kitchen, and what he thought of her idea. He’d sounded intrigued by it over the phone, so she went with it, planning out a simple menu and gathering the items that she’d need.
She’d pre-made the dessert though, knowing it would take more time then she would have. Biting her lip, she pulled up outside his house and grabbed the box she’d stored everything in, double checking that she had it all, before heading to the door.
