RP: Shopping's always better when you have company

This insane trip all started with a simple comment, actually more of an observation really. While Mason had been in town he had commented more then once that half of Devri's wardrobe hung off her, and he'd been teasing, but when he had told her that she looked homeless she figured it was about time to face the fact that she was in need of a new wardrobe.
Although the thought made her skin crawl, Devri had resigned herself to shopping. Had even made it as far as the Ridgmar Mall before she realized there wasn't a chance in hell she'd be able to manage this alone, just three steps in to the door and she was already ready to turn around and leave.
Fishing around in her purse, Devri had retrieved her phone, quickly scanning over Laine's number (She couldn't handle the teasing, shopping was bad enough) before landing on Nereida's number, hitting the call button on her phone, Devri didn't even wait for Nereida to say 'hi' before she launched into her plea for help. "I'm at the Ridgmar Mall, doing the one thing I hate in the entire world, shopping! And well, I kind of need backup. You'll come? Nereida you're a life saver, see you soon." Devri hung up her phone, flopping down on the bench in the entry way to wait for Nereida to arrive.
