Date: April 2, 2011 Characters: Charisma & Maureen Gibbons, Layla (NPC), Jason Travis Location: The Affair Status: Public Summary: Charisma goes shopping for a tasteful salsa dress. Completion: Complete
Jase glanced up from the computer and grinned at the attractive trio that entered the shop. Sisters, most likely judging by the coloring. "Hi, welcome to The Affair. How can we assist your needs today?" he asked in a slightly cheeky tone.
Charisma couldn't deny the man sitting at the computer was quite attractive. Not entirely her type, but attractive none-the-less. "Well, I'm going on a first date tomorrow, dinner and dancing, and I'd really like to buy a new dress for it," she explained.
Jase and Maureen are sharing Jase's LJ for the moment.
"A first date, hm? Wanting to dress to impress? Well you've definitely come to the right place," he said, chuckling. "Come on up, formals and special occasions are on the second floor." He glanced at the slightly older woman. "And for you? I imagine you need several gowns to keep up with your busy social life."
Maureen blushed, shaking her head. "Just looking today, thanks." She smacked Layla's shoulder lightly as her daughter giggled. "Moral support for that one," she added, nodding at Charisma.
"Definitely, but I still want to dress age-appropriate," Charisma explained. She followed the man up to the second floor, noticing right away that the dresses here were just as gorgeous, even though they weren't wedding gowns. She giggled right along with Layla at his comment to Maureen.
"She thinks Moms shouldn't dress up like this," she said, motioning to a stunning, almost too-sexy dress. "I say she's still got the body for it, so why not?" she teased her sister.
"So, I'm looking for something probably about knee-length, and not too revealing. Subtle sexy, I suppose. We're going salsa dancing, so something I'll be able to move in." She was curious to see which dresses he might pick for her.
