The couple of weeks he'd been in town before finding his job, Luke hadn't had much time for exploring, or more accurately he hadn't really wanted to make the time. Kudzu found himself sharing the tight space with someone else. He gave him a quick polite smile than ducked his head down to cover his face. Despite his recent streak, he still didn't feel confident about being outgoing. Although there was a tempting paperback just at the man's knee.

Somehow, Luke didn't notice anyone else was there until a hand stretched out toward his leg, or more accurately toward the edge of the wooden bin. He glanced up at the other man, stepping back a bit.

Kudzu nodded, checking the title page against the running list he kept in a little notebook to make sure it wasn't one he already owned.

"Yeah, it's kind my genre." He frowned a little, did he own it or were the titles just close? "I mean uh, I read a bit of everything. But mysteries are my favorite. 'Specially the old ones."
