Rori took the day from the ranch to do other things. Most were admittedly ranch-related-she called the owner of the stud she wanted for Cannon, made a few calls about roping horses at Shosh’s suggestions, contacted more than a handful of people about the Ranch Rescue stuff. She had a sheaf of notes over that, which kind of boggled the mind because she was not a compulsive organizer. The only reason her diary was in chronological order was because it was arranged that way to start with.
She had her shoebox of contact cards strewn all over the table. It was a massive collection from over the years, arranged rather haphazardly. Through the years, she had amended the numbers on some of them. Somehow. But she had to go through half of them before she found the one she thought she remembered. It was a photographer she remembered from a while back. Hopefully the number was current; if not, she would google the hell out of him until he thought her a stalker or something.
Rori dialed the number (she should totally check her minutes sometime soon, she was using them quite rapidly this month), hoping it was the right one.
