Muse looked amazing. Ty was so happy that it seemed to be crowded and everyone seemed to be having a good time. Caleb deserved for it to go well, since he'd put a lot of work into the place. Alex had managed to get a couple of hours off from the Abbey so he could come with Ty, which was nice. The test results had all come back clear, which meant there wasn't anything physically wrong with him.

That was worth celebrating, even if it meant the impotence was probably caused by something in his head, psychologically and all. Ty knew that he'd now be even more anxious about it, since the mind was so weird and confusing that there couldn't be just a simple fix. He didn't really know what they'd need to do next.

But he'd worry about that later. Right now, they had a little free time, the music was good, there was dancing, and he'd even seen one or two of his photos hanging on the wall, which was pretty damn amazing. He turned to Alex and smiled. "You want something to drink? I know you're going back to work after, but maybe one wouldn't

Alex couldn't take the entire evening, but he promised Ty he'd join him for an hour or so at the grand opening. He wrapped an arm around Ty, leaning in to talk directly into his ear. "One's fine. Just had dinner, and can pop a breath mint." He gave him a squeeze.

He looked around. "Looks great. Your friend's got a good business on his hands."

"Cool. What do you want? I'll brave the crowd at the bar to get us something to drink if you want to go find us somewhere to sit?" Ty looked around and smiled. He probably got the better deal since it looked to be pretty full.

He turned towards Alex and nodded. "Yeah, it looks like Caleb's doing well for opening night. If I see him around, I'd like to introduce y'all. He's the guy Rivhak had, uh, breakfast with, after salsa dancing."

"Surprise me." He leaned in for a kiss. "Will see what I can find. You can always sit on my lap." He winked.

"Oh! This is that guy." Alex grinned. "Well, I'd like to meet a man who can convert Bronzey back from the joys of lady love." He snickered. "Hope he has a good bicycle."

Ty rolled his eyes. "You and the bicycles. Go find us a table," he said, swatting Alex's ass and smiling before he ventured into the crowd around the bar. When he made it up to order, he ordered them both a 7&7. Once he had the drinks, he looked around until he spotted Alex.

"Here you go, baby." He put the drinks down and kissed Alex before sitting down. "The band is good. I like how the acoustics are in here, and the way the tables are arranged. Good planning."

He grinned at Ty's hand on his ass. He found a small bar table along the wall, and claimed both seats. He grinned when Ty brought back his favorite drink, and leaned in for a kiss, nibbling on his lower lip as he pulled back. "Yeah, this definitely was a well-planned performance space. If the theatres are as well-appointed, he's going to be kept very busy."

He looked around, taking a sip. "So, we should come to a movie on Sunday. Sit in the back, make out." He wiggled his brows at him. "Think we'd get kicked out?"

Caleb was making the rounds again, this time without a bar rag, when he spotted Ty and his Angel Abbey boyfriend. Chuckling, he headed over during a rare moment when they weren't mid-canoodle.

"Ty," he said with a grin, "hey, glad you could make it, man. Both of you."

"A movie on Sunday sounds good. Making out sounds better. I don't know if we'd get kicked out or not. Guess we'll have to do our best to not get caught," Ty said, leaning in for another kiss.

He took a sip of his drink and smiled when he saw Caleb walking over to their table. "Hey man. The place looks amazing. Especially some of that art work," he teased. "Oh! Caleb, this is Alex Jameson. Alex, this is Caleb Young."

"Nice to meet you." Alex shook his hand. "Quite the place you've got here. Congratulations." He grinned at Ty. "Was just saying how it was well laid out for music, at least in here."

"Thanks," he said genuinely, when Ty and Alex both complimented him. "Took a little tweaking to get the acoustics right, but I reckon it'll be good for some acoustic sets as well as stuff like this. Means a lot coming from you, by the way. I do like the look of Angel Abbey. Plus you've got damn good burgers."

Alex smiled. "Thanks. Ty here kept me on track with the design. Many a sleepless night on all that." He grinned over at Ty, remembering the time when the workers were startled at the sight of them all wrapped up in blankets crashing on the floor. Clothed, but it still looked a bit naughty.

"We should chat sometime. I've got a few bands that come by that I'd be happy to recommend. Or vice versa. Keep the music scene moving." He wasn't sure if Caleb would go for that, but he'd be willing to find a way to make it mutually beneficial.

He looked over at Ty, and smiled. He was glad he'd taken the time to go on break. Caleb seemed a decent fellow. He'd have to rib Rivkah about that sometime.

"I bet," Caleb said before he could help it, lips quirking into another grin. Oh well, he was having a good night.

"Love to chat whenever's good for you. Feels like I can never line up enough talent. Got to keep things hopping every week from here on out, and all. Any one you could point me toward would be great. You do open mics at your place, right? Be happy to return the favor."

Ty sipped his drink and listened to Caleb and Alex talk business. He was glad they were getting along since he liked Caleb. "Yeah, the Abbey does open mics," he said, moving his foot so he could rub it along the back of Alex's leg. "There's a lot of good local talent that you might be able to use to fill in whenever you've got empty space."

Alex simply smirked at Caleb. The man was attractive, no doubt, but he wasn't looking elsewhere. He'd even refrain from making the lewd comment that sprang to mind (heh, sprang) at Caleb's reaction.

"Yeah, every other Friday. You can test them out at my place, see if they're worth putting on your stage. I'm open to having just about anyone. Not to sound undiscerning, but if they have a fan base that follows them, good or not, that's butts in the seats, and orders from the menu." He grinned. "We'll definitely have to meet. See what sort of collaboration we can do. As they say in Hollywood, 'let's do lunch'."

He looked over at Ty, smiling, and reaching out to take his hand. Ty was quite pleasantly staking his claim and Alex was all for it.

"I have to admit I'm a little pickier, but on the other hand it's a business I'm running, and it's all subjective, right? As long as they're not making people head right back out the door, there must be some kind of audience for them. Plus, it's probably just as much about fostering the arts in the community as it is having contract-ready talent for every performance." He smiled then. "Lunch it is. I'll have my people call your people."

He looked over at Ty. "Speaking of fostering the arts, hope you stopped by the lobby on your way in." He winked.

When Alex took his hand, Ty smiled and rubbed his thumb across the back of Alex's hand while he listened to them discuss musicians and bands. At Caleb's remark, he grinned.

"I noticed," he said. "They look good here. I'm glad you were able to use them in your decorating. And be glad I'm so generous, since I gave you for those free. Now that I'll be having a show opening and am a true artiste, I might have had to require payment of some sort." He snorted. "Seriously, though, they're great. I think I saw one or two of Tegan's around, too. They looked good."
