Room 308, Monday, Early Evening

Nov 19, 2007 20:03

So Dawn was a Watcher now, Luke still ever the same Jedi, and Peter Parker had given up his day job for something more parent-friendly. Aravis was pregnant, Sokka was a Chief, and she and John Sheppard were already plotting something eeeevil. She'd discussed kids with Hermione, marvelled at Valentine - who was somehow still his old teenaged self, talked to Cable about timeline craziness, chatted with Aly, and
hugged Deadpool, who was still very much the Best Mentor Ever. And of course, it wouldn't have been a trip to Fandom without the Bork Bork song.

She thought again about her talk with Lulu about which of them was out of the timeline - and she was starting to think Lulu was right, it was her. That would explain Petey, among other things. Like this ancient laptop sitting on her bed. She flipped it open, and noted that the Internet seemed to think it was 2007, as well. Which was another point in Lulu's favor.

It was frustrating, using technology this backwards, but Spira's systems were even more antiquated, so she was used to it by now. So Rikku was sprawled out on her bed, surfing the internet. With a should-be-long-dead kitten merrily chewing on her hair.
