So! She'd met her new little brother, who seemed awesome, and left a note for Hermione in case they missed each other when she got back from her school exams. And then found her way down through the preserve to the Kraken cabin

Sabriel had finally found her room and left all her boxes there. She dragged the suitcase down to the cabins however. She left it by the bed in alcove B1, and went into the living room. She needed to sit down somewhere now and just think about everything.
"Oh hello," she said, surprised to see another girl already there, although she probably shouldn't have been.
"Oh good!" Sabriel said, grinning. She sat down in the couch. "I was afraid I'd be the only one not knowing how this was supposed to go. I'm Sabriel, I just arrived a few hours ago."
Rikku grinned back. "Nope! I mean, I'm not new here, I got here back in January? So if you need help with, like, other stuff, I can totally do that. But this whole cabin thing is I guess just for the summers?" She shook her head. "Weird. So, uh, welcome to Fandom!"
"Thank you. I'm sure I'll have a good time here," Sabriel said, sounding only a little doubtful. "Do you know... I have the names of the people on my side of the cabin and it seems... Are there both girls and boys here?"
"It seems like it," Rikku said with a nod. "I mean, the other three on my side are guys. Well, I know for sure two of them are. The third might be a really ticked off girl named Peter."
"I guess I should be used to it by now, but it's kinda a relief to know I'm not gonna be the only girl here." She smiled. "Who's on your half, anyway?"
After eleven years at an all-girls boarding school this would be a little strange, but Sabriel was sure she could handle it. And even if she couldn't she wasn't going to panic in front of Rikku.
"Um, a Melaka Fray, another Peter and Zuko? Do you know any of them?" A horrible thought struck her. "Am I the only new one?"
Rikku bit her lip. "I know a couple guys named Peter? But I don't know if either of these are either of them." She shook her head. "People here just have extra names. Why can't they stick with tribes, anyway?"
"I don't know if you're the only new one. Uh, I'm new-ish? I mean, this is my first summer here, too, so ... that's not too bad, right?"
Sabriel dug out her sheet of paper from her pocket and looked at it. "Peter Parker, that's his name. Last names are sort of tribe names when you think about it."
She gave Rikku a smile. "No, that helps. We can learn how it works together?"
"Parker?" Rikku thought for a minute. "I think he's one of Deadpool's other minions. Oh! There are faculty mentors and he's mine. He's a mercenary and he's kinda ... crazy? But in a good way."
She laughed. "Totally! We'll make it up as we go along. Plus if you fold your arms and look all snooty," she did her best impression of Lulu's gravitas, "then you can pull off anything. 'No, excuse me, I was told to go over theeere.'"
Sabriel blinked a little at Rikku's explanation, but grinned at the impression. "I think I could do that!" She copied Rikku's stance. "Pardon me, that was not what I was told," she said haughtily.
Rikku grinned and then went back to a snooty sort of face, setting her shoulders back. "I'm terribly sorry, but you must be mistaken. I have been informed otherwise by Those in Authority."
Rikku laughed. "Thanks! I had a friend who ... man. She didn't even have to say anything, she'd just sweep into the room and you'd be like, 'Uhhh, okay, sorry! I'll stop that now.' So cool."
"Wish I could do that, it'd be really useful," Sabriel grinned. "Part of my duties back home is watching after the younger students at Wyverley and they don't always listen."
"Oh hello," she said, surprised to see another girl already there, although she probably shouldn't have been.
