It's wiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiindy!
Its howls woke me up this morning and continue to distract me. The tree branches are flailing every which way and even the street lamps outside are waving around. (I just hope one of them never falls, or if it does it falls the other way. One of them is right outside my unit.)
The bummer thing about the wind is that it has left me completely chilled to the bone. So much so that I refuse to leave the house. Grocery shopping will have to wait until tomorrow night. And, more unfortunate, no Holiday Sing-A-Long for me. I don't mind cold. One can always dress warmly for that. But throw in 40 mph wind . . . yeah, no. I'm not going to stand outside in that. I'll have to find my holiday spirits elsewhere, I'm afraid. :(
