Anna's head jerked backwards when she heard the yelling and screaming coming from outside the extra cafe. What was going on down there? Tai-San was, if Anna remembered correctly, the really spiritaul one. A face popped up in her mind and she nodded to herself, wodingering what had happened to her. When she turned back, Anna could tell that Jack was

When a cold wind blew over the roof top, Anna barely noticed it. Jack's hands felt like two hot irons on her back as the wind tugged her hair around. The cool air felt nice against her bare legs and her toes tingled every time her tongue slide against his, heat blooming on her face. Emotions waged a war in her heart and she couldn't help but let the worries of earlier, of Ryan and Lottie, slip away for the moment. Jack was good at distracting her. And she had to admit, she didn't mind being distracted.

His left hand came away from her back as he pulled in to kiss her again, ready for round two, and fell to her chilled thigh. God her leg is so cold...oh damn, that means her skirt is so short, oh..oh I just...I should take off my jacket, and like, put it on her lap, I wonder if any other part of her is cold. No..no I can't just feel, god what is wrong with me?! Hmmm, his hand slid just a little bit higher, feeling for the hem of her skirt. Her long leg was now under his hand, the skin, was in his grasp, and he gulped into the kiss as he figured this out, wondering how long it would take before she'd just slap him.

Turning around, Tatty headed over to the stairs, taking the outside flight down to the door where he slid down and leaned against the wall. He couldn't see them from here (thank goodness), but he could hear if Anna called for him, and there was just barely enough light from an outside fixture to do his tatting by. Besides, if the rain came, and he could smell it on the air, then he could duck inside, though, Tatty hadn't sat through a rain storm in quite a long time, it would be nice to feel the wetness on his face, like tears from the sky. But, he had on nice clothes, and he wasn't sure he could keep them, so ruining them wasn't really an option, and so he'd just get on with his tatting and wait for Anna to stop...eating Jack's face...

The hand she had on Jack's arm slide back up, linking with her other hand. She pulled herself closer, her mind going blank. This entire day was compeletly unreal. When she'd come to the mall, she hadn't expect much past a safe place to live, good food, and new people. But she hadn't expected to meet someone like Jack. Her the rational part of her mind tried to remind her that they'd only known eachother a day, but the rest of her mind was far to busy to listen.
