Anna's head jerked backwards when she heard the yelling and screaming coming from outside the extra cafe. What was going on down there? Tai-San was, if Anna remembered correctly, the really spiritaul one. A face popped up in her mind and she nodded to herself, wodingering what had happened to her. When she turned back, Anna could tell that Jack was as confused as she was. He started to talk about going up to the roof even if it wasn't quite dark yet. It sounded like a good idea to Anna. That way they'd be able to get up there and move around before it got too dark. Who knew how much light was even up there any way? Anna's attention was grabbed by Tatty as he pressed against her arm looking worried. His eyes were dark pools and he looked upset. Feeling bad, Anna gave him a tigh lipped smile. "I don't know whats happened." Her voice but a sigh as she replied. "I think Jack's right," she stuttered out, "we should head up now. We've had a long day and probably shouldn't stay up to late." Stepping to the side to allow Jack to lead the way, Anna followed quietly holding Tatty's hand.
They all exited the
extra cafe. Anna clutched Tatty's in her own, not only for his comfort but for her own. It felt like everything she knew was falling down around her ears. Willow was all out of sorts, not her usual quiet and calm self. She'd been angry and somewhat mean all day. Anna had no idea what was bringing it out. Perhaps the mall just made people mean. Ryan had always been calm and collected around them. Today he'd lost his temper twice, almost hurting two seperate people. Perhaps Willow was right when she said she wanted to leave the mall. Anna's eyes cut up to Jack, and she shook her head. No, she didn't want to leave the mall. Letting her eyes drift as they walked, Anna looked down towards where the wedding had been. Her view was obscured by the decorations still in place. Voices drifted upwards, but Anna wasn't concentrating enough to able to hear what was being said. Sighing quietly, Anna turned and gave Tatty a small reassuring smile. Before she noticed, they were already at the stairs leading out to the carpark.
