Hi - I e-mailed you about this a few days ago, though the address might have been deprecated...
As I go through Prog Book and ReadMe I am collecting things for the newsletter - con logo, pre typed-up versions of award shortlists, Cyberdrome stuff etc. I could bring them along on a CD, or would you like them e-mailed in advance? If so, which address?
Thanks for your email!the_magicianApril 4 2006, 13:03:29 UTC
Yes, I got your earlier email and meant to reply over the weekend, but I was in bed most of the weekend with a cold and so didn't do half the things I'd intended (d'oh!)
Email is good, a CD backup would also be good! Yes, the gmail address is good for sending stuff for the newsletter (I'll download it at home).
This is all wonderful stuff, and I'm terribly grateful!
Who should I talk to about getting the award winners list (obviously it can wait until "on the day" and I'm happy to wait until they are announced, though if an "embargoed" floppy or similar is available then it will be kept safe and unread until such time as the awards issue is ready to print)
And is Simon the person to talk to about programme change sheets etc.? As I see the website says "For up-do-date information, including details of panel participants, see the Read Me or Newsletter"

Let me finish the ReadMe, and Simon mailing the Prog participants, and I'll get back to you. Prod me at the weekend if I have forgotten - it feels like we're juggling well-fed tribbles at the moment.

Me for the BSFA awards.

Three of the four BSFA awards will be voted on at the con itself; ditto most other awards likely to be made there.
I'll email you separately at your specific newsletter address about awards stuff and the fan funds things we'd like to feature in the newsletter (some of which we thought could definitely be done in advance too).
