Rose was starting to get used to this place. Navigating the corridors and... spending entirely too much time than was really appropriate in the elevator, pressing buttons. It wasn't bad, all things considered. A bit like the TARDIS, in that it seemed to be annoyingly larger on the inside, with anything you could possibly want to do installed in it

It's the music that catches his attention, really, because it's such a difference from most of the sounds in the rooms nearby. Naturally he wanders to the door and, upon seeing who it is, lurks.

Have a tiny smile. "Come on, then. Show us how."

But she is, as always, one to take things in stride. The sound of music draws her, a man's tenor voice, and she slides her fingers along the wall as she walks, till she encounters the ridge of a doorframe. Only then does she look up, taking in the sight before her - the soft lighting, setting an immediate, relaxing mood, and the woman moving in time with the song. Awkward Rose might be, but Caprica can't quite help but be a little charmed, a little drawn in.
She allows herself a few moments to watch in silence before her own curiosity moves her to speak, her eyes and posture alight with interest. "That's a lovely piece of music."

She scratches the back of her neck, and... rather drops the ball. "Dancing alone like an idiot."
She grinned a little, hooking her thumbs through her pockets. "It's pretty brilliant, yeah. A friend of mine used to play it, back home. I was feeling a bit nostalgic, so I flipped it on. D'you- you don't mind? I wasn't... bothering you or anything?"
She couldn't really count on the density of the walls, or what part of this place might be connected to the other end of the stereo wires. This place was a bit of a mystery, and not the least bit random, and the last thing she needed to do is bug people in a place she's trapped.
[ooc: We'll just play it, see how it goes! I'm not adverse to either as long as you're not, and edit away. I'm an editchamp myself, haha.]

She takes a moment to look the other woman over - young, with hair a shade or two darker blonde than her own. Her accent reminds Caprica a little of Gaius, but (perhaps fortunately) the resemblance ends there.
At the question, her gaze lifts, and she shakes her head. "Not at all. I was only walking down the hall when I heard it." She smiles again, softer and almost apologetic. "I haven't been here long. I was getting to know the place."
There's still so much she doesn't know, she feels.

She nods knowingly. This place had an unfortunate tendency to suck you in without warning and leave you to figure it all out by yourself. Fortunately, Rose had a bit of experience in the area, it helped her adapt a bit. A lot of others might not, and it was terribly rude to kidnap the unsuspecting. "It can be a bit intimidating, but once you get used to it, this place is mostly harmless. Usually. I'm a bit new myself, for what it's worth, but I've got a few tips, if you'd like."

She shifted onto the other leg, glancing at the stereo and then back to him. "I can't remember what song it was, last time, but I remember you had bigger feet. Dunno how you managed to dance in those boots."
