Anders could only sum up his past few weeks here as amazing. After spending his life running and hiding for what he was, to discover a world of magic such as this was the stuff of his dearest dreams. He had needed an escape from his own world, for his crimes there would mean he would be hunted until his death. Tavinter magic offered him a one way

He actually admired his professor. Not something he would readily admit to but it was a fact. So sometimes he took longer to leave the class just to watch the man work a little bit longer. To learn some new things had been the point of it originally. However, feelings could shift over time and he was hardly unaware of what had happened. He had dated once or twice in the past.
"Forgive me, professor. I hadn't given you my essay yet on healing herbs." It was actually a fact so it wasn't as if he were lying about that.

He finished packing everything that had been handed in into his bag, and slung the strap across his shoulder. He turned his attention more fully onto his student then, turning and sitting against the corner of his desk.
"Is there something important happening that I should be aware of?" he questioned gently. Seiji had never given him any reason to doubt before; if he was late, he must have good reason.

"Your experience in this area is admirable. I wished to you that I've learned a great deal in your class." Basically, he'd been trying to impress him a bit. Something he didn't typically do but there was something about his professor he actually liked.
He shifted slightly and the other eye that he usually hid behind his hair was revealed for just a moment. "I hope you do not mind, Professor, that it was handed in just now."

"Come over here, take a seat," Anders invited, gesturing to the nearest hospital bed with the kind of warmth and professionalism that hinted to years of experience with the injured. Anders had seen a lot of strange maladies working in Dark Town, and a little gash wasn't enough to make him bat an eye.
"If you please roll up your sleeve, I'd like to take a look."

"I was practicing.." That was the only explanation that Suboshi offered as he started to roll up his sleeve. He flinched a little as the jostling made his arm ache. He wasn't sure if it was broken, bruised or just cut but whatever it was..it hurt like hell. Considering what he had found himself trapped under it wasn't surprising. The gash had happened when he tried to free himself.

Upon entering, she wrapped her arms around herself, not used to simply walking in there. During her few visits to this part of the castle, she'd either been visiting or had been so sick as to be comatose. Hearing that voice call out to her, she raised her head a little, trying to control her bout of the shakes.
"I-... I seem to have a b- bit of a problem. A hex, it seems, but I-... I don't know what it did, exactly."

"Could you please describe your symptoms for me, miss...?" the name alluded him. Anders did have a mind for remembering patients, but he was new after all and there were quite a large number of students at the school. "My apologies, your name please?"

"Do you often find yourself on the wrong end of these kinds of spells, Ms. Granger?" he spotted the prefect badge as he observed her, unable to hide the tiniest of smiles. "All for the greater good, I suppose?"
Anders had a bit of a problem with authority on the best of days, but he thought that his one's heart was probably in the right place. He observed a reddening of the skin, and noted the student's apperent breathlessness.
"Do you feel hot at all, Ms. Granger?" he questioned, touching her forehead with the back of his hand.
