Sarah was now eighteen, in university with an obvious major: theater. Her acting had drastically improved from the self-taught drivel she was reading in her story books. Now with some formal education stuffed into her dreaming mind, Sarah was capable of doing so much more. She had a single dorm where late at night she would keep to herself, practice her lines and do her homework. Though on this particular night, she couldn't focus on anything, other than an onslaught of flashbacks that should've been kept in her storybook.

Brows furrowed in irritation over her hazel eyes. Every week before and after the one day she was taken from her "unfair" yet comfortable world, her brain was haunted by that fanged smirk and those mismatched eyes. She would always feel an unspeakable cold flow through every nerve of her, but then it would brighten to a strange heat that she couldn't quite understand. She always took it as a sign of her anger, her resentment for that creature. The Goblin King.
