He felt so alive, so utterly alive. The energy from the festival and the pure strength of surrounding nature. He'd been to so many festivals before, but this one. This particular one was so... So invigorating. Kurama slid through the crowds, used to so many people in such a small area. But, it was all so festive and everyone was happy ( Read more... )

The nice thing about wearing dark colors and having dark hair was that he was difficult to see if he stayed to the shadows. This was proving to be quite the advantage tonight. The hotel had swapped his usual dark ensemble for something more traditional to China but it was still deep black lined with red. And there standing just out of reach was the prettiest thing he almost killed. He breathed out a sigh at the picture of him. Whole and disarmingly delicate again with the soft glow of lanterns making him luminous against the dark background.

He smiled behind his mask and stepped forward, pausing behind the boy. Young man now, humans aged so quickly. He could smell the plants the other always had on hand, life to counter his own death. Leaning forward he murmured in Kurama's ear, "Such a beautiful tableau."

((Bear with me, I'll be very slow next week. And uh... my Karasu's still a sadist so I hope you don't mind a little gore. It has been several years since I pulled this account out XD))

(ooc: That's fine. I'm jumping between two accounts on my phone, so don't mind my slowness. And it's been a while since I played Kuama, so I'm equally rusty. Gore, light gore is fine. This is Karasu after all.)

That voice. A chill ran up Kurama's spine.

"You're dead." He whispered. One hand went towards his hair. Get some seeds and get away from this man. The man that still haunted his nightmares to this day.

"You're dead." the demond whispered.

"I thought so as well." Karasu took a step back and his eyes smiled, one long fingered hand slipping up to present himself with a flourish. "But here I am, feeling quite alive I assure you." He ignored Kurama's immediate defensive gesture.

"Are you really going to break up a nice evening like this?" He asked curiously as a pair of teenagers walked between them snuggling close. His eyes followed them. "I don't mind, but I had thought you concerned yourself more with the humans."

((Sounds good!))

Kurama swallowed the lump in his throat. "I will end you again." He whispered. But... This man, this demon. Kurasu haunted him in the way Kuronue did. It was unnerving.

"I did it once, I will do it again."

He was stronger now. He had more control.

Karasu stepped forward as the couple passed, raised hand flicking a little as he sent invisible ki in their direction. "Now now, let's not get hasty my lovely little fox." He tilted his head a little. "It would be a shame if this ended in massacre."

He snapped his fingers and somewhere a ways away down the lane what looked like a firework exploded, and a scream rent the air.

Kurama's eyes widened and he glared at Karasu. "You bastard!" He snarled before lunging at the crow.

Head on tactics didn't work. He knew that in the back of his mind, but it didn't matter.

Redheads were so firey. He smiled to himself and stepped to one side, light footed. "Ah ah ah." he tsked at Shuiichi sounding entertained. "Who knows how many more there are."

"What do you want?" He snarled, "What do you want from me?"

To save the innocents at the festival, he'd do anything.

Karasu turned to face Kurama and leaned in closer, breathing his scent in through the mask. "That's a silly question, Shuiichi Minamino."

He lifted his hand to touch that lovely red hair. "Surely you can guess."

He flinched away from the touch, pressing his back to the brick wall. "Don't touch me." Kurama said coldly, staring at Kurasu.

One thin dark eyebrow raises and Karasu's hand still hovers in midair where Kurama's hair had been. His violet eyes followed Kurama and seemed to bore into him, peeling back the skin in his minds eye to see the deep red below.

"So frightened." He murmured, and he was clearly thrilled with the fact, drinking in the anger and horror like it gave him power.

He stared at Karasu with hate in his green eyes. His power surged and pressed against the barrier he had raised. He wanted to let his plants free to tangle around the man.

But, he didn't know how many more bombs where out there. How many more people could be hurt.

(ooc: I didn't say before, but I'm okay with a lot, just no heavy gore or watersports. If unsure, just ask.)

It was so nice to be outside the tournament. He could torment the redhead without following rules. The hate emanating from Kurama sent a tingle through him. Chuckling quietly he let his hand fall. "Really now, is this any way to greet an old acquaintance? I had hoped we could get to know one another. This is the hotel after all." His eyes drifted up to the stars. Amazing what the building could do.

((I'll try to stick to just a little blood. Can't avoid the blood. But his minds eye could get a little more graphic))

(ooc: His mind's eye can have all the fun it wants.)

"You are not my aquantience." He told Karasu. Kurama couldn't shake the feeling of fear that ran through him. He remained against the wall, a hand wrapping securely around a few seeds. Better be on the defensive.

"I believe we have met and interacted previously socially. By very definition that is what we are." Karasu replied, stepping closer to Kurama. He looked down at the smaller man and his eyes narrowed in anticipation.

((What kind of barrier did he put up? Something with plants?))

(ooc: Yeah, plants and sorry for the delay. Was at work and all)

"But I hate you and I killed you." he snarled.
