The Mid-Autum Festival || BYOA
He felt so alive, so utterly alive. The energy from the festival and the pure strength of surrounding nature. He'd been to so many festivals before, but this one. This particular one was so... So invigorating. Kurama slid through the crowds, used to so many people in such a small area. But, it was all so festive and everyone was happy.
Lanterns illuminated the area and Kurama just felt a small thrill being here. Closer to nature than he had been in months. He stopped under the archway of a modestly decorated building and just watched. He watched the dragons and the people. The statues and the buildings. Makai didn't have anything like this at all. No night sky, no stars, no festivals, no harvest or equinox.
At least the festival took some of the sting off.
Kurama smiled softly as he watched the people move about. Everything was so bright, everyone so cheerful. It was refreshing.
