At least, there was something Jigen couldn't really complain about: nothing bad had happened to him for almost a month or so. It seemed like that place just wanted to give him the shock of his life and then leave him alone for good ( Read more... )

(( ooc: Hahaha, cuuute. ^_^ That it is. ))

She wondered why he was a staring at her for a moment, and was about to ask about it because it didn't seem like the normal Oh-my-God-you're-so-freaking-hot kind of staring, but then he spoke, and she decided to put it on the back burner, for now.

He was cute, really cute, or maybe it was aphro talking. Whatever it was, she wanted him. Right now. Her hormones were yelling at her to grab him, grope him, kiss him, something, but she did her best to smile and look normal as she tried to ignore them.

Clearly, it was her fault, but she wasn't so distracted or flustered that she wouldn't let him take the blame for it if he wanted to. So, she shrugged, and replied, "If you insist." Then, she meant to step around him and continue on to her room, but her traitorous body wouldn't move. She could keep it from doing all of those naughty - bad, yes, bad is what she meant - things that it wanted to do to him, but, apparently she couldn't make it leave.

Well, that was awkward. She smiled bigger and tipped her head, trying to look cute and hopefully not psycho. "Well, ah, I'll just stand here so we don't almost bump into each other again, and you can just go around me," she offered, part of her really hoping he would take her up on it, and the other part just hoping he would take her.

He probably would just walk away and leave. After all, he wasn't the kind to bother people or anything like that. On the contrary. He tried to stay out of their way as much as he could.

Unfortunately, whatever that nice, comfortable room did to him, got him fascinated... no, fixated on her. He didn't know how or why, but he felt like questioning that less and less as the seconds passed.

That almost felt like the same way he did with his boss, but that took time. He didn't instantly get ridiculously attached to him like he was doing now.

Before he could think about what he was going to say, words just rolled off his tongue with little to no planning beforehand. "Ma'am, I might not look like but I'm a bodyguard. Do you need me to escort you somewhere?" He had no idea why had the urge to point that out, but he did anyway. It just felt like the right thing to offer her.

If she said 'yes' that would give him an excuse to be next to and keep an eye on her. He really wanted that. Hell, even if she said 'no' he would find another way to stick around a little longer.

Now there was a reply that both turned her on and confused her. Bodyguard? Hot. But, whatever would she need protecting from here, except herself, of course?

It was back home where she really needed an offer like that. Back home, she had enemies, and entire races out for her head - and others like her - because of what she was now, never mind the things she'd done, which were pretty bad, as a matter of fact, but pay no attention to that.

Here, she was pretty well safe from everything but the Hotel's influence, and he couldn't protect her from that. At least, she was pretty sure he couldn't. She figured that if a person like that found themselves in the Hotel, they would quickly find themselves out of it. She couldn't imagine that the Hotel would like anyone preventing it from playing its games with its many occupants.

Still, an offer like that, especially in her state of mind, she just couldn't refuse. "I was just about to head to my room. You could escort me there, if you like." It wasn't so much an answer to his question as an invitation, and while her tone might have sounded perfectly innocent, her eyes were smoldering with desire, likely cluing him in to her true intentions if he chose to accept.

Jigen never really thought of his job as something that could add to his attractiveness. To him, that was just his duty and he tried to treat it with cold professionalism so then he could be as efficient as possible. Using that in favor to his looks seemed pointless to him.

But if she thought of him like that, good. It was quite rare of him to look at any woman with great interest but... Gosh, that woman in front of him was just gorgeous. Nothing like the ones he saw back home. And he wanted to stay with her so much...

Also, he couldn't really point fingers at her for having people after her. It was the same for him out of that hotel. He was always being followed by people who wanted to kill or by people who wanted to have him work for them. He particularly hated both.

He couldn't help but crack a smile when she agreed on having him around. Not only because, damn, he was going to stay close to her, but also because it made him feel useful and wanted, just like back home. He was missing that feeling so much.

Amid his excitement, the look on her eyes were a little bit lost on him, as he was too busy thinking about how her voice sounded magnificent and how he wanted her to talk to him non-stop.

"You won't regret it miss." He said, with an enthusiasm in his voice that not even he knew he had it.
