The air was sweet, cloying, tainted with something so strongly it was sickening. Kau sat up slowly, noticing the soft clink of the chain attached to his neck, a chain he was used to and generally paid no mind. However, he did not recall his Master tying him somewhere, especially not somewhere unfamiliar.
Lifting his head, Kau sniffed the air-- then wrinkled his nose, shook his head, and tried again. It was difficult to pick out scents past the overwhelming sickly-sweetness, but he could certainly smell traces of other people. And sex. That scent was thick in the air as well, and Kau rubbed his nose with the back of his hand, then turned his face toward what he could feel of the slightest breeze, just a movement of air. There was an open door nearby.
However, when he crawled forward toward it, he found his chain only allowed him to move several feet. Going back, he felt it carefully, not unhooking it of course, to realize he was tied to what felt like a bedpost. He wondered why he'd been brought here. He couldn't smell any tags, and this place smelled nothing like Toshima.
Either way, he would have to wait for his master to come untie him, so he knelt on the floor at the foot of the bed where he'd been left, patiently waiting. Of course, he had no way of seeing the sign above the open door that informed anyone who passed by:

Underneath the blindfold, his eyes are sewn shut, and his vocal cords have been surgically removed (there's a scar down his throat as a souvenir).
