It shouldn’t be surprising. Shouldn’t be. He’d honestly thought he’d hit the bottom of the barrel serving tea. There’s a pinch of pent up frustration knitting his brows, a taut tight line on his lips, jaw set firm and clenched.
He’d only been here an hour, trapped in this odd building and, more times than he could count on one hand, he’d walked in on situations that were more dishonorable than he could explain. It was as disgusting as this place was frustrating, near impossible to navigate because of sheer size. Undoubtedly, the constant fraying run ins weren’t helping him be able to find his way through or out any better.
Zuko didn’t care or believe what anyone here had to say about it.
There was a way out.
He wasn’t staying in this disgraceful place. Not that his life in that tea shop was any better, but it was better than whatever messed up inn this was. He rounded another corner, following the hallways in an order that his logic had panned out. He’d find an exit or he’d make one.
