Ideal Life
It was a beautiful day out. Sunny, warm, with a few clouds overhead to provide an occassional and slight bit of shade. A gentle breeze kept the sun from making anyone or anything too hot. It also caused the tree branches to rustle and the roving green grass to sway, like waves in the sea. For miles the field they were in went on, the flat greenness broken up by patches of flowers, trees, hills, and a lake. The water was perfect, pristine, and sparkled in the sunlight. There were a few fish within it.
Perhaps a bit uncharacteristically, Gilgamesh loved days such as these. Scenery such as this. Though a man who could, perhaps, be considered as attached to material things, Gilgamesh could also appreciate and adore the simplicity and beauty of nature. Whether it had been his idea or that of the woman behind him he couldn't recall and he didn't much care to. Even if it was a bit begrudgingly, Gilgamesh walked from their home to this field, carrying the basket of food, wine, a blanket, and whatever else she'd packed. He was wearing a white-button up shirt that was untucked and unbuttoned at the top and the bottom, a pair of black slacks, and black shoes.
Pausing near a tree and a short distance from the lake, he turned to the girl behind him.
"Where should we eat?" he asked, voice just slightly monotone, though not out of any negativity. He was smiling, at least.
