She sat down in the clearing, taking a moment to savor the scent of the strange flowers.

His eyes roamed over her form as he talked, trying to decide what form of 'toll' he could claim from this one. She was obviously well-off, so she probably carried jewels or other valuables.

Sakuya wasn't here, nor - as she found she'd been half-hoping, somehow - was Rasler. Why had she thought he'd be here? Just finding him suddenly in a beautiful forest was a silly, romantic notion - she knew he was dead.
But at least perhaps she could rest here a while and recover. She sat on the soft grass under a tree at the edge of the glade, the scent of the flowers lulling her into a doze.

"What is this vision of beauty that has wandered so blithely into my home?"

Meg looked around before shrugging and walked further into the clearing, her attention was immediately drawn to the flowers and she smiled. "So beautiful!"

The young man approached her, his footsteps silent as he strode forward. "Aye, it is beautiful, isn't it? And what a lovely mouse that has wandered into my midst as well."

Despite the odd situation she stood where she was and slowly nodded. "Yes, it is monsieur." She wasn't going to make any comment about the mouse comment; she was kind of used to those. "Have you been here long?"

"But that is a tale for another time. For now, I must address the matter at hand. That being that the mouse has wandered into a home not her own, and the master of this land demands recompense for her transgression."

It was no surprise that she had succumbed to the magic of the forest, either. To mortals, it was irresistible. The magic of the fae always was. However, he could only allow her a few moments of repose before breaking it. It was his duty, after all.
"And who are you to trespass upon this land?" He spoke, seeming to appear from nowhere, just a few steps away.

Or was he perhaps...?
"Are you a spirit?" she asked, her eyes growing brighter with delight. He might have been the spirit of the meadow, protecting it with his presence. That would explain his sudden manifestation, as well as the pointed ears.
Politely she bowed. "Inoue Orihime. Please forgive my trespass! If I am unwelcome, I can--" Her finger pointed toward the door as she started to speak, but she found herself pointing only at trees. Speechless, she blinked. "Er...the door's gone..."
Was he aware of this?

He walked past her, following her pointed finger, leaving no footprints behind, as the foliage seemed to simply move out of his way to avoid being crushed. "Door? Whatever could you mean?" He asked, feigning ignorance, then turned his head to look at her. "But you must realize that you're intruding on a place most sacred. How to you plan to make up for your mistake?"

Mesprit gasped with awe, completely taken aback by it all. Never before had she seen anything like this before, not even by the shores of Lake Verity. Her golden eyes took in everything - the trees, the unfamiliar yet lovely variety of flora, the sunlight's rays peeking from through the tree canopy - but it was mostly the aroma of fresh, pure air made her smile, causing her to take a deep breath. It was good to have something untainted to fill her lungs for once. "Ah, how...how beautiful..." With an innocent giggle, the pink-haired girl ( ... )

"I do hope you do not plan to take some for yourself." Tam Lin spoke, suddenly standing before her, the grass and flowers seeming to simply move out of the way of his boots rather than be crushed beneath them. He carried that same taint of magic that flowed through the forest.

Still, she had to explain her actions to him - it was the right thing to do. She sat up straight, hoping that she wasn't in any sort of trouble. "Ah, no...I was just smelling them, that's all. I didn't mean any harm... It's probably for the best that I don't pick them, isn't it?" She was easily embarrassed with a bit of pink on her cheeks, yet Mesprit's soft-spoken words were nothing but truthful.

"I also have little appreciation for those who enter my home without my permission." A smirk tugged at the corner of his mouth. "That's called trespassing, lass."
