She propped herself up on one elbow facing him, staring at him pretty much at a loss before reaching out and running a hand through his hair.
"Erk?," she began, her hand moving to his shoulder and shaking slightly to wake him up, "Erk, wake up."

The changes in the hotel around them--the muted colors, the supply of champagne, the chocolates--had yet to register in her mind. She was more concerned about Erk and if he was all right.
"You want to talk about it?" If he even remembered the dream, that was.
