15 Yoochun was inside Si Yeon's dressing room, sitting on a chair. The girl was right in front of him, also sitting down, going through the first aid kit she had on the little table next to her.
She took out a little bottle with antiseptic, a small pack pf gauze, bandages and some band-aids and while she prepared everything, Yoochun kept looking around, inspecting the room.
“Look at me” She said while starting to desinfect the cut just above his eyebrow
“Ouch! That hurts!” He winced, as soon as the liquid got in contact with his wound and Si Yeon just smiled at the reaction
“Sorry, I'll try to do it slower but I need to clean the cuts so it's bound to hurt.”
“Do it veeeeeery gently, okay?”
“Yes, little kid” She mocked.
Si Yeon finished cleaning the eyebrow cut, putting a band-aid on it and went on to clean the cut on Yoochun's lower lip while he was still whimpering.
“You got a cut a on your eyebrow and although is not deep, you'll get scared when you look at your eye tomorrow since it's going to be pretty dark.”
“I'm already seeing some of the bruises turning purple, so I think I'm prepared for what is coming tomorrow.”
Si Yeon finished cleaning all the cuts and putting the band-aids. She checked to see whether his nose had some fracture or not, but luckily it wasn't.
“I'm done with these. Now I need you to take off your shirt and lay there” She said, pointing at the couch.
Yoochun obeyed although he was clearly having difficulties with his shirt, since he was not able to lift his arm properly. She helped him and then he laid on his back.
“I'll be pressing down on a few spots so if it hurts, tell me.”
“Okay”
She started pressing around his ribcage and all the way down to the side, until Yoochun let out a scream.
“It's here, right?”
“Yeah, just...don't touch there.”
“Okay. Lay down on your stomach and put your hair to the side so I can clean the cut on your neck” He did what she asked, although moving slowly “You have two broken ribs so I advise you to got to the hospital and get it treated.” She said
“Are you a doctor or something?”
“Medicine College, 3rd year. I ended up quitting though.”
“You should go back. You're really good at this” He said and she smacked him in the head “Ouch! What was that for?”
“For you to learn when to be quiet and stop telling stupid things. Remember all the pain you are feeling today the next time you decide to be a Good Samaritan and hero for damsels in distress because neither you are a hero, nor I am a damsel.”
She finished tending to his wounds and he put on his shirt again while she cleaned the table and put away the first-aid kit.
“That guy was irritating me” He said, clearly talking about Heechul
“That guy is crazy. He could have killed you if he wanted.”
“Hey, I won the fight, didn't I? Besides, I'm a black belt in taekwondo!” He proudly announced, gaining yet another smack on the head.
“Black belt in stupidity, that's what you have. Don't ever pull a move like that again. Defending someone you don't know is usually not a good idea.”
“Maybe,” he started “but I knew what I was doing. The pain and the bruised are the least of it since they heal but you should really do something about yourself and that lack of self esteem and self-respect, you know? Thinking that it's okay if no one stands up for you or thinking that no one will do so unless they have second intentions or unless it's your brother... It's so obvious you've never loved anyone before. Maybe when you do, you will see things differently. However, before even liking someone, start liking yourself first, stop pitying yourself and look at the mirror without shame.”
Si Yeon felt Yoochun's words hurt her like they were daggers and she didn't hesitate in slap him across the face.
“Alright, that's fair. I really did talk too much.” He acknowledged
“Get out.”
“Thanks for tending to my wounds” He said lastly
“You don't have to thank me.”
“No, I don't, but it doesn't hurt. Bye.”
Yoochun left the dressing room, only to find Jaejoong outside, leaning on the wall with his arms folded and a scary look on his face. Yoochun was sure he heard the whole conversation.
“Go ahead. If you want to hit me, do it now.” Yoochun said, closing his eyes
“No, I'm not going to hit you.” Jaejoong stated
Yoochun opened his eyes then “You're not?”
“You said what it needed to be said but no one ever does. I protect Si Yeon because e she is my sister but no one ever did so without having second intentions so you have to understand her rash behaviour. She is just not used to being treated kindly by others.”
“I was definitely not trying to make a move on her!” Yoochun said, quickly
“I know that. Anyway, thanks for what you did. I won't forget it although in the future you might think otherwise.” Jaejoong said, putting a hand on Yoochun's shoulder and leaving him utterly confused.
Meanwhile, in the VIP area, Yoon Ki and Yoon Jae were still happily chatting and judging from the two empty bottles in front of them, Yoon Ki was surprised that Yoon Jae could still articulate her words and thoughts.
“How is your family like?”
“What? Where did that come from?” He asked
“Aren't we getting to know each other? I already answered your question, so now it's my turn and I want to know about your family” She said, clearly pointing the “game” they had been on since awhile: one question each, no lies and no trying to look cool if the answer is embarrassing. That was Yoon Jae's way of getting to know people. Yoon Ki found it weird and funny at the same time.
“The usual stuff: Mom and Dad”
“You are an only son?”
“I guess”
“You 'guess'? What kind of answer is that? You either have siblings or you don't”
“I can't remember having one but then again I've told you that my head does not work properly, didn't I?” He said, smiling
“Is there anything inside it? At all?” She asked while hitting Yoon Ki's head lightly almost as if she was knocking gently on a door. “How come you remember what happened yesterday for example, but you can't remember your family?”
“I told you I've been hit by a space rock and got amnesia from it don't you remember?”
Her eye twitched at his absurd answer and then just laughed her ass off in front of the boy.
“Alright, that's it, no more alcohol for you, Miss. Now let's go, I'll call you a taxi to get you home.” Yoon Ki said, getting up and helping the girl getting up.
“I don't want to. I don't even know the driver, what if he kidnaps me?”
He chuckled “No one is going to even dare to get close while you have this alcohol smell going on so don't worry about being kidnapped.”
“You are so mean! Why don't you take me home?”
“Because I've drank quite a bit and am not driving like this. I'll call the taxi and go with you, how's that?”
She glanced at him and then suddenly smirked which made him look at her, suspiciously “Alright then” She said at last.
Both of them got downstairs, while Yoon Ki kept holding onto Yoon Jae's arm, preventing her from falling down since she was dizzy as hell and as both got out of the club and Yoon Ki was waiting for his taxi, Junsu appeared in front of them, already on his bike.
“Do you need help?” He asked, pointing at Yoon Jae, half sleeping on Yoon Ki's shoulder.
“I'll manage.”
Junsu smiled then, waving at him and disappearing at once.
Junsu's house was close by and as he kept speeding up, he got there in a blink. He parked his motorbike, leaving the helmet on the seat and rushed to his room. He had seen the lights on so he thought that maybe Sung Ri was still there.
Keep imagining Sung Ri in his room was not helping though but he climbed the stairs quickly anyway although he didn't even know why he was so eager to get there in the first place.
He stopped in front of his room's door and knocked but then again, why was he even knocking on his room's door anyway?
He got inside and then sighed as he saw no signs of Sung Ri there, well at least physically, because he could clearly see the unsettled blanket on top of his bed which meant she had been sitting there.
[Why did it have to be the bed?]
Since Sung Ri was not in the room but the lights were on, he decided to look for her and thought of going to her studio but then he heard sounds coming from the kitchen. There was someone singing...
He got closer to the door, pushing it slightly and peeking inside.
There she was, pink apron on, singing while she held a tray full what seemed to be cookies and put them in the oven. When she turned around, Junsu was already inside the kitchen, looking at her, arms folded and smile on his face.
“AH!!” She yelled “Damn it, you scared me! What are you doing there?”
“That should be my question.” He said “What are you doing?”
“Chocolate-chip cookies”
He looked at his watch “At 3 AM?”
“I was bored” She argued and if Junsu was an anime character, he would have fallen dramatically on his back after that answer.
“So I guess there IS a cute side to you after all” He said and she blushed like mad “Were you bored because you were waiting for me?” He asked, further embarrassing her
“I was not waiting for you”
“No? That's too bad” He said, trying to look disappointed “Don't you want to cook me some ramyun?”
“What about the cookies?”
“They just went into the oven so if I have to wait I'll die hungry. Besides, your ramyun is good.”
She smirked “Ohhh... so the rich boy does like to eat ramyun after all...”
“I only like yours.” He stated, nonchalantly and she could swear she felt a sudden shiver
“I'll do it.”
“Great. Take it to my room when it's ready” He said and quickly started to leave
“YAH! Am I your maid?” She asked but he was no longer there. Instead he was already going upstairs, practically sprinting
“Cold shower, cold shower, cold shower!” He chanted
Twenty minutes later the cookies were out of the oven and the ramyun was cooked. Sung Ri put everything on a tray and went to Junsu's room, knocking first just in case she was in for a surprise. He gave her permission to get in at once but as she got inside, she did not see him.
“Where are you? Let's eat.”
“I'm in the shower. I need your help, so can you come inside?” He said, from the bathroom
“No, I am not going in there. Why do you need my help anyway?” She asked, nervous
“I just need some help with the cut that bastard gave me...”
“WHAT?” She interrupted and immediately ran to the bathroom, opening the door widely “What cut?”
“I can't believe you actually opened the door... Yah, Park Sung Ri...” Junsu said, looking at the girl with an amused look on his face.
She could see he had showered but he was fully clothed and just drying his hair with a towel as he looked at her with that stupid grin on his face.
“It was just because I thought you were hurt, you ass!”
“Did I scare you?”
“Just go and eat your ramyun.” She said, coldly as she left the bathroom and sat on his bedroom's floor, next to the food tray.
He followed her and she just put the ramyun pot on the table, with a loud thud which actually made him flinch and then proceeded into munching on her cookies. Junsu grabbed his chopsticks and started eating his food while still looking at her and studying her expression.
“Are you going to sulk now?” He said finally
“I am not sulking.”
“Yes you are.”
“Why? Now I can't even sulk?” She asked, more like yelled, almost spitting the half-eaten cookie into his face. “I'm just so miserable living with an idiot like you...”
“Aw, c'mon, now you are being mean. Besides if I follow your trail of thought then you are as idiot as me.”
She quirked a brow
“What? You can deny it? Can you deny that you like me?” He asked and that questioon did come without a warning for Sung Ri who tried to remain calm
“Easily.” She said
“Oh really? I'd like to see you try”
“I don't like you” She uttered
He snorted at that and then put the table aside and got closer “Now say it while looking into my eyes.” He asked
Sung Ri looked at him sitting right in front of her, only a few centimetres away and swallowed hard before even opening her mouth; His eyes were making her nervous.
“I... I really don't. I don't like...you” She said and then immediately cursed the fact that her voice faltered while saying it and it made Junsu smile at her.
“Liar.” He whispered right before getting rid of the small distance between them with a kiss. It was way too quick for her, but it made her heart race like she was about to have a heart-attack. Not that she had ever had one though.
“What was that for?”
“To help you clear the doubts on your head and make you realise that you DO like me”
“And why do you have to insist so much on the fact that I have to like you?”
“Because liking you alone is no fun.”
There it was... her heart... oh God... it was... stopping...
“W-What did you say?”
“Do you want to sleep with me?”
“ARE YOU NUTS?” She screeched
“See? Your hearing is in perfect condition so why do you ask me to repeat things?”
Yes, it was definitive: She had forgotten how to breathe.
“I... am sleeping. I mean, I am going to. Sleep I mean. You...” She stuttered
“Yeah, I got what you mean.” He said, smiling mockingly “You can take the books too” He told her, pointing to the ones she had been reading before her cooking session.
“Thanks.”
Sung Ri darted for the door but then again Junsu called her and she just wanted to cuss at him.
“By the way, do you want to go out tomorrow?”
“Out? Out where? Why?” She quickly asked
“On a date with me. What about it?”
Heart-attack, no breathing... she should be dead by now, right? Or at least that was what she thought but no, she wasn't. Yet.
“Are you serious?” She asked, just to make sure
“Dead serious.”
“Okay.” She replied “Goodnight then” She said, before literally running outside.

Yoon Ki paid the taxi driver and helped Yoon Jae getting out of the car. Her state could only be defined in two distinct ways: suddenly ecstatic or incredibly sleepy and either one of them was making her just grab Yoon Ki as she pleased which was pretty much embarrassing inside the taxi already.
The boy lent her his shoulder and headed to her apartment.
“Alright, you're here. Now go up and get home” He said
“Eh? You said you would take me home!”
“You are home. Although you're definitely not walking straight, you are not drunk enough to pass out, so just get the elevator and go home.”
“I might as well fall asleep inside the elevator.”
He sighed “Yoon Jae please, go home. The taxi is waiting and I also have to go home alright?”
“You can sleep over if you want to”
“I don't think it's a good idea today so go on” He said, gesticulating for her to go home
“HEY, MISTER!” She yelled, waving at the taxi driver “He's staying over, so you can go! Thank you very much for the ride!” She said with a ninety degree bow and the driver shook his head as he drove off.
“YAH! Are you crazy?”
“So... you are sleeping here, right?” She asked although she didn't really have to state the obvious, since Yoon Ki's apartment was pretty far away from there.
“I still have my phone, you know that? I can call a taxi.” He said, as he approached the girl
“You have it? Where?” She asked, immediately putting her hand on his pocket and making him flinch at once.
“Woah! Where are you putting your hands? Geez, you are dangerous when you are drunk. Alright, I'll take you home, open the door for you and tuck you in bed but afterwards I'll be sleeping in that very uncomfortable couch of yours alright?”
She cheered on the boy's decision then and both of them entered the building while Yoon Ki kept trying to calm down the hyperactive girl who spoke in a very loud and cheery voice. She kept being touchy and having her hands all around him as he kept grabbing them away from him and praying for the elevator to get to her apartment's floor quickly.
She calmed down, seemingly starting to get sleepy again and Yoon Ki sighed as she didn't move when the elevator's door opened. To solve the problem quickly, he just picked her up, bridal style, and headed to her apartment. Getting her keys from her purse, he opened the door and got inside, using his foot to close the door behind him.
Since he still remembered where things were, Yoon Ki headed to the girl's room and literally threw her on the bed without any warning.
“Yah, Park Yoon Jae! Why are you being like this when I know you are not all that drunk anymore?”
She opened her eyes, looking at the tired young man in front of her “Huh? How do you know my last name is Park? I don't think I told you.”
“You didn't? Well, I don't know, I just said it without thinking because it was the first name that came into mind so I think I just guessed it besides, 'Park' is a very common name.” He said, as he suddenly looked at himself in the mirror and noted a red mark on his neck “Oh, shit! When did you do this?”
He looked back at Yoon Jae and she just rolled to her side, giggling.
Yoon Ki decided to drag her out of her bed and made her change into her pyjamas (inside the bathroom) and when she was back, he made sure she went to bed and just like he said he would, Yoon Ki tuck her until she was left with only her head outside the sheets, looking at him with an absolutely adorable face.
“Good night.” He said as he prepared to turn off the lights
“Are you leaving?”
“Didn't you ask me to stay for the night? I'll sleep in the living room.”
Yoon Ki turned off the lights and closed her room's door, going to the living room by himself. He had taken a blanket from the closet in the entrance and made sure to get rid of all the other pillows that were adorning the couch except for one; He laid down and shifted a few times until he found a seemingly comfortable position in a couch that was too small for a men of his size to sleep on.
He tried to sleep but somehow he was unable to. He thought he should have left to his house when he had the chance to; at least there he would be able to sleep. He kept thinking about what kind of situation he was getting into, being all comfortable with someone he met not long ago and truth be said, the relationship between him and Yoon Jae was one of the strangest ever. When did they start getting so friendly with each other? She used to stalk him, so how did things got to that point?
Frankly speaking, he had no idea why things were like that but somehow things just kept going for them; things just happened so it was not so much of a surprise when after a long period of thought, he felt something crawling under his blanket and getting near to his back.
“What are you doing here? Go back to your bed” He said, not even moving
“I don't want to sleep alone”
“This is too cramped for both of us to sleep here”
“Then sleep in my bed”
Yoon Ki remained silent for a moment and then shifted his position in order to look at Yoon Jae “Do you have any idea of what you are saying? You just don't ask a guy to come and sleep in your bed like that. What if I attack you while you sleep?”
She chuckled “Then why don't you do it while I'm awake?”
He looked at her, incredulous. Was she saying what he thought she was saying?
She got up from the couch, pulled the blanket aside and stretched her hand to Yoon Ki.
“Are you sure about this?”
She nodded.
Yoon Ki reached for her hand then and she smiled then and when the boy kissed her after getting up. He deepened their kiss and she did nothing to prevent it.
When they got to her room, half of their clothes had already been scattered on the corridor's floor and those that didn't, found their way on the room's floor in no time.
He didn't get their relationship or how did it come to that and he doubted that she knew either but things kept happening and whether it was too fast or whether they would regret it later, it was already too late to stop it now.
A/N: I'm sorry for these 2 weeks with no updates on this one, but here it is: chapter 16. Enjoy!
