Yoon Jae was bored. She did not see Sung Ri during the whole day and although she did try to call her, she never got a reply.

Yunho’s phone call had left her slightly depressed. She was so happy after finding Yunho after all those years however he kept ignoring her.

Three years before everything fell apart in her life, he was not like that.

He never made a problem out of the fact that she was dating his brother even though both of them were only fifteen at the time.

He used to tell her to stop by and have dinner with them and at one of those dinners she’d even joke about how he would be the perfect brother-in-law but that comment made Ji Woo so nervous that she made sure that from that day onwards she would be more careful about her words.

After all that happened, Yoon Jae visited Yunho at the hospital during the month that he had spent in his coma. She was there when he woke up and when they’d told him about Ji Woo’s death; It was in front of her that Yunho broke down in tears and grief. She had been there for the time that he spent in rehab and she went with him when he wanted to see his brother’s grave for the first time.

After that day, Yunho disappeared without leaving a trace and Yoon Jae would have been alone if not for Sung Ri - her childhood friend. However Sung Ri also had her own problems so Yoon Jae would always make sure that she didn’t “bother” her much.

Finding Yunho again, made her think that maybe she’d feel a little less alone, that she’d have someone to talk about those memories that she still cherished. However, the Yunho from now was totally different from the one she remembered and he would avoid at all costs talking about anything that would have happened in the past.

Yoon Jae tried again to reach Sung Ri and this time the call was answered, however she heard a male voice on the other side ode of the line.

“Hello? I’m sorry, is this Sung Ri’s phone?”

“Yes, it is. This is Junsu speaking. It’s Yoon Jae, right?”

“Oh, hi Junsu. Yes, it’s Yoon Jae. Are you with Sung Ri? I wanted to talk to her.”

“She is sleeping now” He said.

“Sleeping? OMG! Did you two…?”

“NO!” He said, almost screaming “It’s not what you think! Sung Ri didn’t feel well and I brought her to the hospital.”

“The hospital? Why? Is she okay now?”

“Yeah, she is okay, but she lost the baby.” He said.

Yoon Jae kept silent for awhile as the news sunk in “I see. Let her sleep then. I’ll go see her in the morning then.” She said before hanging up.

That call made her feel bad somehow. There she was thinking about how miserable her life was, when her friend was at the hospital after loosing her baby.

Anyway, she still thought that Sung Ri sure needed to see a shaman or something of the sort because it seemed like problems always came her way.

While still holding her cellphone, Yoon Jae decided to call Yunho once again despite being late and despite the fact that she would probably going to regret it later.

Yunho felt his phone vibrating and picked up the call without even looking at the screen but suddenly the battery died and the screen's light went off.

“Great, the battery is gone” He said, sighing.

“You can use mine if you want to” Hee Soo offered, giving her phone to Yunho who was barely able to keep from laughing “What?”

“It's pink and it has a furry thing hanging” He pointed out

She tsked “So what is the problem of having a furry cellphone with a pink thing hangig?” She asked, clearly messing the order of the words Yunho said before.

“Woah... look at you... just remember not to give you anything to drink in the near future, yes?”

“Whyyyyy? It's so good...” She said, smiling and almost tripping on the sidewalk

“I better take you home” Yunho said while grabbing her arm in order to prevent her fom falling

She smiled “Home is good... I have a furry bed”

“You sure do have a lot of furry things” Yunho mocked while taking her to the car.

“Yunho-sshi... can we stop for a bit? I'm feeling dizzy.”

Yunho got near to the car, unlocking it and opening the passenger's door while helping Hee Soo sitting down. She sat there, with her legs outside and her head down while Yunho squat to see if she was okay.

“Are you feeling better now? Don't you want to get inside?”

“I'm fine here although it's so hot” She said, smilling widely at Yunho until she suddenly put on a serious expression while looking at the boy “You are so handsome...” She said suddenly.

“Thank you” He said “You're not bad yourself”

“You know who's handsome too? Yoochun. Do you know that was the first thing I noticed when I met him? I thought: 'I have such a handsome brother'.

“I guess the good genes run in the family”

“You know, Yoochun is not really my brother... He is his mother's son.” She said

“I'm sure he is” Yunho said, thinking that Hee Soo was a honest-type when drunk.

“That's why I got him as my boyfriend,” She blurted “but it's a secret”

“If it's a secret, then why are you telling me?”

“Because you are handsome” She pointed while smiling”Maybe I'll just swap boyfriends, what do you think? Do you want to be my boyfriend?”

“What about Yoochun? Don't you think you should te - ” He started, but suddenly she surprised him with a quick kiss.

Yunho looked at her while she just smiled and before he could say something she just dropped her head and started vomiting.

“Oh...that's nice. Thanks for keeping it out of the car” Yunho said, while patting her back

After she was done, Yunho sat her straight on the seat and put her seatbelt on. He drove her home but before even thinking of ringing the bell, he took her phone and searched for Yoochun's number.

“Hello? Hi, it's Yunho, is this Yoochun? Oh, I'm sorry to be calling now but I've brought Hee Soo and I thought if you could come and get her since she's not quite awake at the moment”

Yoochun got to the door within seconds and headed to Yunho who was waiting for him outside of the car.

“What happened?” Yoochun asked

“She drank a little too much.”

“Hee Soo usually does not drink”

“Hey, don't look at me like that. It's not like I made her drink on purpose.”

“Of course I was not thinking that” Yoochun said while opening the passenger's door and picking up the sleeping Hee Soo “You did well by calling me because if her father knows about this, he kills me and her and then go after you.”

“I thought that would be the case. Well, I have to go now so you better go inside before you both freeze to death. I'll see you tomorrow” Yunho bid his farewell and got inside his car again while Yoochun went inside, carrying Hee Soo. He was sure her head would remind her not to ever drink like that again the next morning.

Yunho was happy with the conclusion of that date. The night had gone better than he'd expected and things were easier than he thought they'd be. On his way home, he decided to call Junsu; if he was at the “Purple Line” he'd make sure to stop by but it was only then that he was reminded again that he had no battery on his phone and he was feeling lazy to stop the car and get his other cellphone from the bag he had on the trunk.

In the end he decided to head home.

~*~

Jaejoong and Yoon Ki met at the “Purple Line” that night. Of course that the fact that Heechul was also there made Jaejoong's presence justified and his eyes were focused on the red-haired man.

Yoon Ki remained alone at the bar, drinking but it was only then he noticed a girl sitting next to him and asking for a drink also. He knew he had met her somewhere and while trying to remember, she looked at him whith a questioning look and then it came to his mind: that was the girl that Yunho met the other night, Yoon Jae.

As he started to look the other way, she spoke

“Don't I know you?” She asked.

“Ah, yes, I'm Yoon Ki; Yunho introduced us the other night.” He said

“Now I remember! I'm Yoon Jae.” She said, obviously a little tipsy by then.

“Yes, I remember. Are you here by yourself?”

“Yeah. I had no one to come with so I figured that my best companion is still myself so I came on my own” She said, downing her drink in one shot and quickly asking for another glass.

“Don't you think you should be careful with those?” Yoon Ki asked, pointing at the newly-filled glass in front of her “You shoud stop before you get completely wasted”

“That is today's goal. Do you want to keep me company?”

“I don't think so. I don't feel like getting drunk and act like an idiot and if I were you I'd choose another place to get drunk instead of this club.”

Yoon Ki grabbed his glass and got up from his seat heading to the club's first floor - the VIP area - and as he got there, he remained leaning on the banister and looking every now and then to Yoon Jae who was not stopping with the alcohol.

For a split second he actually felt bad for her but then she must be someone with little to no brain to do that willingly.

About one hour after, Yoon Jae had her head on the counter, half-sleeping and it didn't take long for a man to approach her.

“I told her this was going to happen” Yoon Ki said to himself while still still observing the scene from afar.

Yoon Jae was obviously too drunk to possibly notice what was going on around her so she was an easy target to anyone at that moment so Yoon Ki decided to stop watching and take action.

He went down the stairs and headed to the bar.

“Excuse me,” Yoon Ki said, shoving the man aside “Yah, Yoon Jae, can you hear me?”

She murmured something inaudible but it was enough for Yoon Ki to know she was still somehow conscious.

While trying to make the girl sit straight while looking for his phone, the boy managed to multitask and call Yunho. The first number was constantly telling him that the device was off so he tried the other one and finally after a little while, Yunho picked up the call.

“Finally! Hey Yunho, I have some kind of a situation here so can you come to “Purple Line” now?”

“Why?” The other asked

“Your friend Yoon Jae is here and she is completely drunk so can you come and pick her up?”

“Get a paper to write what I am about to tell you.” Yunho commanded “Are you ready? Ok, so it's 21-103 Sampoong APT, Seocho-dong. Got that down? That is her address alright? Thanks and goodnight!”

And just like that he ended the call, leaving Yoon Ki hanging with a drunkyard and an address.

The boy made Yoon Jae get up, grabbing her by the waist and putting her left arm around his neck for support and headed to the exit and to his car.

After arriving at the given address, Yoon Ki shook Yoon Jae, trying to wake her up and being partially successful.

“We've got to your house. Get out.” He said

“What?”

“Go home.” He said, shooing her but she was not the least interested in doing so

“You take me.” She asked

“You have got to be kidding me, right? You go alone!”

The girl smiled then and started getting out, stumbling and unable to walk in a straight line. Yoon Ki sighed and then started the car and disappeared leaving Yoon Jae looking back and thinking about what kind of a guy leaves a drunk girl in the street and does not even take her to her door but then she heard the sound of car brakes and a few seconds later Yoon Ki was walking towards her, grabbing her purse and putting her on his shoulder, upside down.

He made her insert the code for the door to open and then proceeded to the elevator, getting swifty inside and surprising an elderly couple that remained starring at the boy carrying the girl on his shoulder.

As they got to her apartment's door, Yoon Ki looked for her keys and opened the door while still carrying her and looking for the lights to see where he was heading. By that time, Yoon Jae was already much more energetic and making it difficult for Yoon Ki to carry her so he sighed in relief as he discovered her bedroom because as soon as the got there he just threw her in bed while she kept protesting.

“You keep quiet, okay? I should have left you at the club sleeping on the counter and being surrounded by perverts. Now, keep quiet and sleep!” Yoon Ki commanded while rolling her in her blankets almost to the point where she would not be able to move

“I hope you don't mind, but I a going to sleep here tonight. It's too late and I'm too sleepy to drive now.” The boy said but Yoon Jae was already fast asleep.

Yoon Ki headed to the living room, took off his jacket and laid on the couch, falling asleep in an instant.

On the next morning, Yoon Jae woke up with a headache that was so strong that she was barely able to open her eyes. She wanted to move, but when she looked at herself, she was completely trapped into the sheets and the blankets so she had to roll around until she fell from bed and finally was able to free herself.

The first thing she did was to head to the bathroom but as she was about to open the door, she saw Yoon Ki, shirtless and drying his hair with her towel.

“Wh-at...?” She muttered as she followed him to the livingroom where he tossed the wet towel aside and grabbed his shirt to put it on.

“What are you doing here?” She asked

“I brought you home yesterday” He stated matter-of-factly

“And why are you still here?”

“I was sleepy.” He said bluntly

“That's it? You bring me home and sleep on my livingroom while you're at it?”

“Yeah.” He said as if it was completely normal “Don't worry, I didn't get near to you last night and nothing happened. Yes, I slept here, no, I have no interest in you and this is not a rom-com drama so no, I didn't make you breakfast if that is what you are thinking.” He said while grabbing his coat “Oh and by the way, your couch is terrible. Have a good day.”

Yoon Ki opened the door and left quickly, leaving Yoon Jae speechless and still processing all the information.

Now, that was definitely the most awkward and abnormal situation ever.
